What is your best themed restaurant and why?

Mines got to be San Angel Inn, in Mexico at Epcot. Love watching the boat ride as it goes by and the volcanoe! If there is a bit of a wait we go on the boat ride while we are waiting, the buzzers work all the way round on the ride! And it was the first time I had chocolate with chicken lol Whats your fav?

Wow, great question...and a very hard one to answer.
For family meals, I know it might be silly, but I've got to say it's a tie between ESPN, Sci-Fi, or Germany. My DH and I are huge sports fans, as our our two girls (5,3). At 2 years old my oldest could rattle off the starting line up of the Yankees and the positions they played. (This was all because of her dad. She never picked up on my Red Sox:shrug:). We love going in there, enjoying the food, which we have always had a great meal at, and enjoying the sports. We ate there on a sunday last month... spring training, Nascar, and March Madness!!!:sohappy:
But we also love the theme at Sci-Fi. We have fun eating in those cars.
And Liters of Beer in Germany...need I say more?
But for a couples only meal, I'd have to say either Canada or California Grill.
Great, now I'm hungry. :wave::slurp:

Miss the Characters at Liberty Tree Tavern

Our family loves the Liberty Tree Tavern, but we miss the Characters dressed in the early American costumes. We still eat there and see all the great early American decor, but the characters made the overall theme complete.

From overall theme from wait staff to decor to the food-the 50's Diner has my vote!

RF Cafe

I do enjoy RF Cafe. Food is OK/pricey!:(

I like The Garden Grill dinner w/ ChipnDale. The restaurant revolves/moves around the scenes from The Land boat ride. The food is served family style all you can eat. Mickey is dressed as a farmer.:)

Must admit it gets panned now and again yet I've never had a bad meal yet.Last visit in 2010 we managed to walk in at Downtown with no ADR. my son loves onion rings so he ordered the Onion Tower and this tower of crispy rings arrived  needless to say we had to help him,if there was 1 there must have been 14. Anyway by the time we finished them, had our entrees, our son wanted an ice cream to Finnish, just at that a waitress walked past shouting VOLCANO.:eek:No way.:ROFLOL:

Whispering Canyon
1900 Park Fare
Donald's Safari Breakfast
Sci-Fi

In my opinion, these are very well designed as far as theme & atmosphere are concerned.

I went to 50's Prime Time last visit and it was great! Waitress kept telling my dad off for having his elbows on the table and me for using my phone :D

San Angel for me too. It's such a cool little place and I really enjoy the food. Coral Reef is a close second. It misses the top spot just for the noise issue.
