Your best themed restaurant, and why?

Have to agree on San Angel, it is amazing, we eat there just for the atmosphere, not even sure if there is anything on the current menu I will particularly like but we are going anyway! Eating in Sci Fi for the first time to, looking forward to that!

While I agree with all the posters who mention my number 2 favorite: 50's Prime Time Cafe, my vote has to be for Coral Reef. I'm actually surprised no one else has mentioned it (sorry if you did and I missed it)

For theme, you can't beat Sci Fi. It's truly unique. There are other restaurants I like better. But none beat Sci Fi for theme.

As others have said Sci-Fi is amazing for theme. I think they could do better with the clips though. I love the B movie clips but they need more of them and maybe work in some of their own Sci-Fi movies.

My wife and I also really like Toni's Town Square for the Lady and the Tramp Theme (My wife's favorite Disney movie).

San Angel is probably my pick, as well. It's the WDW equivalent of Disneyland's Blue Bayou, and frankly, I think it's better. Blue Bayou may be signature, but I think it deserves that classification even less than Le Cellier.

For an alternate, I'm heading into the Swan and Dolphin and taking bluezoo. It might not be very Disney, but its theme works really well with the vibe. It's an intimate dining experience with a touch of sexiness. It's probably the best restaurant for a couple to have a meal by themselves on property, in that regard, and the lounge is fantastic.

Miss the Characters at Liberty Tree Tavern

Our family loves the Liberty Tree Tavern, but we miss the Characters dressed in the early American costumes. We still eat there and see all the great early American decor, but the characters made the overall theme complete.

From overall theme from wait staff to decor to the food-the 50's Diner has my vote!
Hands down LTT was the best when it had characters, now for best themed I would prob say Coral Reef or Cinderella's Table

San Angel Inn takes my top spot too. I absolutely love it, especially when sitting near the river.

Restaurant Marrakesh, The Plaza Restaurant, and Yak and Yeti are some other favorites.

What is your best themed restaurant and why?

Mines got to be San Angel Inn, in Mexico at Epcot. Love watching the boat ride as it goes by and the volcanoe! If there is a bit of a wait we go on the boat ride while we are waiting, the buzzers work all the way round on the ride! And it was the first time I had chocolate with chicken lol Whats your fav?
Hows the food at the San Angel Inn? I've always wanted to eat there but never have.

Though it hasn't been mentioned in previous posts, I love the atmosphere and theming of the Hollywood Brown Derby. I love that old Hollywood style theme, which is what DHS should be about anyway. Besides, it doesn't hurt that it has some of the best food of WDW either.
