Pineapple Float, Splash Mountain, and Carousel of Progress... Though usually we try to do as much as we can in every park, our MUST DO'S are always MK-oriented.

ok first off I'd like to state my opinions on what other people have said....

What the HECK is a dole whip float (I know where it's located, but just what IS it?), and why haven't I ever had one! I ALWAYS pass the place on my way through adventure land, but I never stop n grab one, what exactly is it consisted of? And I think regardless I'm having one because at least 1/2 of EVERYONE who posted under this post said "dole whip float"!!!

I personally don't get the turkey legs (nor do I like them obviously), I never knew there was such a demand

Another thing is I think we need to get back to the original post quote....

"It would be nice to find out what things must be done for a day at WDW to be enjoyed to its fullest."

So naming every attraction you enjoy is another post, this is the select, few, must do's. Like if you didn't do these things, you would have to postpone your departure a day just to get it done, and as for mine....

Since I go to every park every time I go to Disney I have one from every park....

MOST IMPORTANTLY - A 'cloud berry horn' from Norway at epcot before riding the Malstrum (although I dont have to ride the malstrum to feel complete). I don't know why no one has said this, but I cant get ENOUGH of this sweet treat. It is as close to an oral orgasm as I've ever had!

Also at epcot mission space (the hardcore 1), lately (last 3 trips) I haven't been able to go on it because the members in my party won't dare jump on it, n to be honest I feel empty when I leave, and when I think about it I regreat it. It's just I can't bear going by myself on a ride (even if the people will wait), idk y but that just makes a vacation not fun (riding rides n being in line aloner)

DHS - ToT, idk y but there is never a long line for that ride (never more then 30 minutes), but I ALWAYS have to go in, take a right, and get on, and when I mean always I mean 10 times outa 10. It's just a MUST! And the strange thing is EVERYTIME before I go on my first ride I get these like tingly's in my stomach, yep STILL after over 100 rides butterfly's!!! It's weird, n everytime I tell someone they look at me weird, but idk I just cant help it. But right after the 1st drop, it all goes away and I have to wait till the next trip to get that fear of the twilight zone....

DAK - Only talking about DINOSAUR! I could go to animal kingdom and not even go on everest and its no biggie, but I'm sorry, whose ever comming with me is going on Dinosaur no matter WHAT! I don't know if its the countless funny ride pictures, the great lines I quote from it ("There not gonna make it, there not gonna make it!!!!!" [yeah me at DAK pre n post dinosaur is ANOYING, I say that ALL DAY]), or just the ride itself; but the bottomline is I can't get enough.

I used to be nuts over primeval whirl too, it was dinosaur primevil whirl over n over n over again, so it was (keyword) a must or else emptyness ensued. However my dad got into a motorcycle accident a couple years back and fractured a vertebrae in his back and it's the one ride he can't/won't do. So after a while I got used to it. But even still, I'll walk past it everytime I get my fastpasses for everest n go 2 Dinosaur, or from Dinosaur to use them, and I'll look up n just want to go on, n maybe one day when the lines are really low I'll flow solo again and ride one of my (back in the day) FAVORITE rides

Ofcourse we come to the MK, and to be honest, there aren't really any rides for me that I have to ride or else I feel empty. I have a feeling though, it's going to be laugh floor (I've only been to MK 3x since it came in, and it was all in 2008, because strangely enough, I went during 2007 christmas and I didn't see it or it wasn't working or something). 3 visits, 3 times I went to it, 3x I loved it, so the trend is starting to be a must see. Only time will tell though, if you'll wait over an hour for it, and theres alot of other attractions to do (that have lower wait time), it's a must see.

But I do have a place in MK I can't go into the park and skip, Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. Idk what it is about ray, and his cosmic beats, but it's just the place. For me I think it is the sumation of ALL my Disney memories in one location (and I not only have millions from the place and tomorrowland ITSELF, but also zillions from the park that all come back). I always seam to kind of just space out and remember all of the goodtimes I've had at Disney when I go there. I always tell my dad (b/c hes the one that got me into Disney, brough me over 70x and I STILL go to this day with ATLEAST 2x a year, although in the past we went as much as 6-8 times a year) that once he passes I'm not going anywhere NEAR that place, b/c it'll kill me. I'm talking no tomorrowland, no fantasyland, no mickies toontown, I mean Disney will be lucky if I'll enter the park again! It's that memorable to me. There has only been one time I went to MK and I didn't go to cosmic rays, and I STILL remember it and it was like 10 YEARS ago!

really long sry I'm not too good at this blogging thang yet

STOP!!!!

To date in this thread, we have an average of roughly 6.5 must do's per poster.

That's pretty restrained by wdwmagic standards. Nice work everybody.

CONTINUE!!!

Food wise, we always have to eat at the Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club... it just does not feel like a trip to Disney if we dont get a chance to eat there.

Attraction wise:

MK- Must do Philhar Magic
HS- Must do the Great Movie Ride (it is the nostalgia for me )
EPCOT- Must do SSE, Sorin', and Test Track
AK- Must do Kilimonjaro Safari

I only drink Beverly with first timers.:hurl: It's ALWAYS a hoot!

I'm with you on that! :ROFLOL:

We're going on our next trip in 2 weeks with several people who've either never been to WDW or haven't been in so long it'll be like their first time all over. You can believe we'll be having them try Beverly and I'll be "Johnny On the Spot" with my video camera.

Have to have a turkey leg and ride SSE, PoTC, TGMR, and see It's Tough to be a Bug.

If I don't do those 5 things, it's not an official visit.

:wave:disney kid we have a lot in common your list of must do's pretty much matches mine.the only difference i would add these 3 things.
1- an early morning safari for my daughter
2- ride in the front of the monorail from epcot to mk
3- have a sushi lunch in japan:sohappy:

My wife and I have a few traditions:

1. We always go to World Showcase and take a picture in each country wearing a funny hat or making some ridiculous pose. After doing this on several trips, we're starting to run out of original ideas for pics.

2. At MK, we always make the trip up the stairs at the train station for some people watching and picture opportunities looking down mainstreet.

3. We go to all the 3D movies and take pics with those fashionable glasses.

4. We always get those Mickey rice krispie treats with the chocolate ears.

5. We always try and eat at a new restaurant on each trip. We keep finding awesome food!

6. Shopping at DTD is always a must.

7. We always find our LAL tiles at EPCOT.

8. Frozen Lemonades at DHS (usually right outside RnR)
