No, I did not know they were under survillence. But I did suspect as much. And now there needs to be a key present to work it. Wow, this is not as easy as I thought. Yet it makes a lot of sense to guard this "secret" button. However there is allways a loophole. We just need to find it.

Here's hoping you don't! ;)

Really it isnt worth trying to find loopholes for extra FPs. If you get spotted doing anything dubious with the machines you will be ejected from the park. So if I were you I would just stick to the rules that in place for the benefit of all the park guests.

That button has been on the WDW Fastpass Machines since day 1. While it does require a key, the general laziness of some of the CM's operating it has them leaving 1 machine unlocked for emergencies. Furthermore, most of the machines are kept under video surveillance and monitored, and when people are seen cheating the system, when caught, their penalties can range from a simple having their fastpasses revoked (ALL fastpasses.. not just those gotten illegitimately) to getting kicked out of the park, to having their passes revoked and be trespassed from WDW.

Plus... it's cheating. For every fastpass you get by cheating, one less person can get their fastpass legitimately and go on their attraction. By your act of selfishness, you are denying one person their chance on the attraction.

If im not mistaken...if you are an anuual/seasonal passholder and are caught tampering with the FP machines, they revoke your passes.

Its not something you wanna mess with, and i havnt known ANYONE who has gotten away with this in a LONG LONG time.

Couldn't agree with you more...

It rediculous, not only are you denying someone else that ticket, but cheating the Fast Pass system, kind of defeats its purpose...

I appreciate the helpful advice. I really don't need to find the button for the FP's. Nor do I plan to mess with it, and I have seen people kicked out of the park for that. Now I understand why they were. But I never worry about the length of rides. I either use a FP, or stand in line and make friends. Kinda like all you guys. Needless to say Disney protects all its property. :lookaroun

That may be true, however at some FP stands, there are no CM's, and you can try early in the morning. Or after all the FP's are gone, during the night, and at closing time. Most CM's are trying to get everybody out. Find a FP station near the front and search quickly.:king:
Just letting you know a little bit of info...
1. All FP machines have a lock on them that prevents the machine from printing override tickets.

2. They must be enabled before you can print those tickets.

3. Once all the fast passes are gone then they are gone the machine shuts off. No matter how may times you try to hit the override button it will not print a single one.

4. If any CM sees you trying to find/tamper/use the override button, they can have your tickets revoked, you and your whole party will be escorted out of the park, and any days remaining on you tickets would be confiscated. *I have had to report this and it's not a pretty sight.*

5. An override ticket looks different and most attractions are starting to require a validation of this ticket. (i.e. a specific stamp/a CM Signature/ an extension number)

Don't know if anyone else has mentioned this, but I was at MK Sunday, and ALL the FP attractions were displaying the 5-minute window. My friends and I went around the park, and within an hour or so had FP's for Space, Splash, Big Thunder, Pan, Pooh, Mickey's PhM, Jungle, Buzz, and Mansion at the same time. Don't know if this was a quirk of the system or some sort of "experimental" thing, but we sure enjoyed it once we figured out what was happening.

The text is substancially different and has a large letter in the lower corner denoting that its a comp FP. Of course, this isnt even as funny as the story i was told about a guy who tried to use a HISTA FP at TT and then proceeded to pull out a 2 inch stack of FPs for various attractions. The CMs working were NOT amused....

That brings up the old saying that cheaters never prosper. Why does Disney change the printing on the comp. printed FP? How would you tell a CM at the FP line that another CM printed it out for you? That would look a little suspicious. And to those thinking they can break the rules, do not. :goodnevil

It's just printed another way more like the generation one version of fastpass with just the return time and the time the fastpass was printed.

If you have ever cheated the system, thought about cheating the system, or plan on cheating the system - you are worthless scum.

Just to clarify, the FP's we picked up Sunday were not Comp FP's. They were all the real deal; the network was allowing everyone to get another FP within 5 minutes. Like I say, I don't know if this was an oversight or something that was done on purpose for some reason, but that's what was happening.

Disney is currently having problems as well with people using Fast Passes issued from another day... since the date is printed so small on fast passes, it is usually not even looked at by CMs. I remember when a similar problem arose with the WDW parking ticket system. Even though the colors alternated, you could just "flash" the parking pass with the correct color (the code wasn't very hard to break) and just cover up the date on the pass using your thumb. As long as you showed the correct color, you could get free parking. Of course, since you can't cheat the mouse out of money, Disney now uses printed tickets with the date in huge bold font. I assume it won't be long until the Fast Pass format is changed as well to have a larger date stamped on the ticket.

There is really no way to cheat the Mouse. But with the 5 min. intervals, that is really what I want to know about. And since it works I am very happy.:king:

I have a large stack of FastPasses... only they're all invalid and I use them as collectibles. I still need It's Tough to be a Bug, Mission:Space and Mickey's Philharmagic. Also, does anyone know if Stitch's Great Escape will have FastPass? (PM me if you know, I don't want to be causing thread drifts and be labeled a troll.)
