You Know You're a Hardcore Disney Fan When...

When your Dear Hubby looks at you and says "I wish I could take you to Disney Next year instead of in 2 years" and you tear up cause that is one of the sweetest things he's ever said to you.

When you go to another hotel no where NEAR WDW and ask the same Dear Hubby to please call Mouse-keeping for more towels and he looks at you and shakes his head but makes the call any way.

Your Dear Hubby pulls up the his Netflix account and his recommendations have changed form things like Kill Bill 2 to Tinkerbell and Great Fairy Rescue. Then he comments that there is a new Disney movie not in our ready to stream que and puts it in for you. And you giggle like a school girl.

Your looking for Mickey Mouse queen size sheets and trying to figure out how to convince Dear Hubby that it's going to be fine to sleep on them.

Oh..and remember that plastic shopping bag i was telling you i found recently in my atticspace?
Well...here is a photo of it.

I totally geeked out when i found this amid the stored away artwork.

See, you KNOW for sure you are a bonified Hardcore Parks Fan when your geek out over what was supposed to be a disposable bag .

Yep....but WHOA...look at that pic of SSE that was used !
I think that alone justifies the geek-factor.
Just LOOK at the sparkling glint of sunlight reflecting off of the original entrance fountains decor....eeeeee!
( shamelessly shows hardcore-ness.....)

Well I do collect bags so for me this is a find. If therapy is needed I will go with you ;)

Our first trip to WDW I brought home 7 bags. The were all the same, but 1 was for me to keep and the other 6 ended up being used in my Dear Daughters scrapbook.

When you:

wear a disney tshirt to work everyday
drink you coffee from a disney refillable mug every day
your sunglasses have little mickey heads on the side and you own two pairs
have Disney decals and magnets on the back of your car
own Disney silverware with mickey heads on them
your cats are named Ariel and Flynn Rider
reserve every blu-ray from the Disney store just to get the lithograph set that comes with pre-ordering
go to the Disney store just to get a "fix" and always walk out with a new tshirt.

I could go on and on....

Constantly lessening to music at Walt Disney World or any Disney Park.

Constantly thinking of new ideas for what should be added to the parks.

Thinking of that one Disney character you really want to meet in the future at any Disney park.

When you:
  • Have knowledge of every single Disney Park
  • Have seen many Disney movies over the years
  • Have been to both WDW and DLR
  • Are an AP to WDW

Even though you have over 40 magic bands, over 50 pairs of Ears (10 alone for Halloween), your spare bedroom is bursting at the seams with Disney merchandise, you don't have room in your house to display all your Disney Christmas ornaments, you have a chest just for all your Disney t-shirts (and that's still not enough room), you just have to get one of the new Dooney & Burke magic bands because it will pair so nicely with the Disneyland 60th anniversary purse and wallet you just bought for you and your DD. Oh, and there isn't a Disney tote bag you don't like and haven't bought.

And that's on top of visiting every other month, sometimes twice in one month.

Obsessed? Nah..... ;)

When you have a Christmas tree with only Disney ornaments
When you have a room with only disney related items.
When you have 800 plus posts on a Disney fan site
When you could name every single attraction
Only one room? ;)

I have just expanded my villain collection to a second room, because there isn't any shelf or wall space left in my study.

My grands request drinking glasses by which character they want for the day.

The vitamins bought for the grands are Disney, and if the store is out of them...Go to a different store.

Sure can! I've been doing that for years. (Some years weren't worth it) I kinda use them as an indication of the history of WDW. And it's free! You just go to the Disney.com site, then to the parks and you will find a click on for the planning video. Fill out the questionnaire and in a few weeks it comes in the mail. Could not be easier.

One of the reasons that I keep my VCR is to occasionally review the old "tapes" from years ago.

Oh you guys keep finding my weakness, ok so you take those old obsolete VHS tapes and record them to a DVD. That ups the life of the VHS tape, about 10 years, to DVD ( 25 to 100 years ) not including damage by scratches, etc. If you really are into it, you get that free decrypting program from the internet that lets you make your digital backup so keeping it forever is possible. Well depends on how good your backups are.... lolol

And when people ask about DisneyWorld, you can lend them (your) DISNEYs vacation "guide". Talk about FREE advertisement.

I don't particularly bring up the DISNEY parks but when I am asked, it just starts rolling out....... ( eyes look up and roll over to the side )
