Trip Report Yikes...55 days to go, I better get this thing started! Oh yeah, we're live now

Well, were down to 55 days so I guess we should get this started. You were with us for the 16th, 17th, and the epic bungalow 18th so why not include you in on the 19th! So I guess its time for the WWWW&W,

The Who: The cast for this anniversary debacle should be no surprise:

What can I say, we love each other to death…

The What: Details to follow.

The When: September 16th-21st. We’re pretty locked into these dates since we are flying for this trip. This will be the rare bubble visit where vacation creep does not play a role like just about all others have for us in the past.

The Where: We’ve got ourselves some banked Poly points so why not burn through those! 5-nights at the Poly will be our longest stretch at the resort and we couldn’t be more excited! Typically we’ve only visited for a single night before or after a cruise.

The Why: 19 years of marital bliss, of course! What better way to earmark an occasion than visiting the house that the mouse built!

More details to follow!

Our round of rides included SM, Buzz, and HM before we hopped on the monorail for EC. While in the HM queue we scored a B&C ADR for lunch today!

If you dont try it on the on ride photo, it doesnt count! haha

But since @Tuvalu requested a Polly lob pic, Id like to request an on ride photo dab please. Hope you guys have a great day! Cheers!
Sorry @wdisney9000, apparently Disney now views the dab as being offensive...

As soon as we landed at EC we made for the craft beer stand and shared a couple of flights. I was happy overall as it was 6 beers ive never had and one was exclusively for the epcot 35th anniversary.

Shopping for the kid was out of the way and it was time for lunch. The overcast sky and lite breeze made for a pleasant walk to B&C. We were seated immediately at the bar.

We shared a burger with sautéed mushrooms and onions and an order of onion rings.

And for dessert...NoWayJose!

We always forget how huge this guy is!

We're on the bus now heading to MK from BC. We plan to take a boat to the Poly for some pool time.

So this was our first time at California Grill and we were cautiously optimistic. Would this place live up to the hype!?!?

As we entered the restaurant we got a nervous feeling because this place is LOUD. I mean, "BOG at lunch during Christmas week" loud. Then we are seated and immediately see this

If you're wondering where the other three shi...angels are, well they are dancing around the table while mom and dad are tuning them out with a nice game of candy crush.

The signature facade was fading. Fortunately we still had this to look at

We were feeling uneasy about how things were going when Ryan pops on to the scene.

Ryan, aka philip seymour hoffman's doppelgänger, is a ball of pleasant energy and helped us ignore the noise and whirling dervish as we covered the menu. We knew what entrees we wanted but were not sure about the drinks. He made some suggestions we gave some questions and we settled on a bottle of this
IMG_0700.JPG

It was good, a little dry and a little fruity but it was also chilled. DW liked it chilled i was "meh" about it being cold but the taste was there and it worked well with iur dinner.

Ryan was quick with bread and we enjoyed the noisy scenery while waiting for dinner.

It was a little exciting watching the kitchen staff bust tail to get all the meals prepped and out. I would not want to be the cook manning the grill! There had to be at least 30 steaks in there and he was keeping up with them.

Soon dinner arrived. DW went with the filet and i had the ribeye.

OH MY F'N GOD!!!! The food was SOOOO good! Personally the ribeye smashed the filet but both were excellent. These steaks were on par with Yachtsman's and smashed Shula's and LeCel. We sat and leisurely enjoyed our meal for a good hour, tuning out the rugrats and crying babies, at leat three of them, while trying to compare this meal to the porterhouse for two at yachtsman's. By the end of the meal we were done and could not think of dessert. We happily settled up with Ryan and made for MK.

I made one stop along the way for @Tuvalu

Thats called "random stranger taking pictures"

So after a sweet WDWMagic M&G we made for a quick trip to MK. Upon entering main street i saw this:

At first i thought this girl had fallen and went to help her up....then i saw the camera

Thinking this may be the latest "dabbing" trend I decided to give it a go

Nope, its not for me...

We had a BTM FP burning up so we made for frontier land. Along the way we decided to see if Skipper's had any availability, the wait was 40 minutes so we gave them our number for a text and made for BTM. Along the way we were sad to see this sight

Skippers Canteen is coming up

Love the laying down experiment! Cracking me up!

Greet meetup!

Artist Point meal looked pretty awesome as well as the Cali Grill!

I'm going to have to try WDW on a steady diet of Golden Monkeys.
