Pre-Trip Yes, Virginia, There is a going to be another Prophet TR...

Well we’ve just passed the 30 day threshold so I might as well put this out there. We’re at it again! You were with us in 2015 and again in 2016 so why not come along for 2017! This year we leave the in-laws at home but the kid is bringing a friend! So here are the details:


Who: DW(@imahistorygeek), DD(TheKid), and ME(@lostpro9het) We will also bring a friend of TheKid’s who I will call “The Fourth Wheel”

When: Dec17-Dec22

Where: Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jambo 1-bdrm value villa


We will be changing things up a little this year and will by trying out a food delivery service and attempt to cook in the room for a few dinners! We did line up a few ADRs but I’ll get into that a little later. I’m still on the fence about a live or a post TR, probably post so I can enjoy the time. Anyway, that’s it for now I’ll post more fun facts soon!

Ha this is great! Pittsburgh Dad is right though, might as well just plan ahead and mark the Pats game down as a loss when the schedule comes out.

On our last visit we had a family of about 127 in front of us in the AP line. Ok maybe 11 :) like you said they scanned and scanned to no avail. Then argued with a CM that they were AP holders. When a manger finally got involved he asked them "Do you know what an annual pass holder is?" The father replied "Of course I do, we buy tickets every year, so we are annual pass holders". In the end they buy 7 day park hoppers every vacation. The manager did pass them through :(

@wdisney9000, spent the evening at Cherry Street Brewery last night. If you and the Mrs. are on this end of 400 you need to check it out! Had 8 new beers last night and they were awesome.

Yeah, I was blowing up Untappd last night.

If you all ever take a pit stop longer than 12 hours here its one of two places I'd take J. The main thing with CherryStreet is they hardly bottle/can anything so you have to go and enjoy or bring a growler. They are just now starting to bottle and can. Anyways, I've probably just inundated you with more beer talk than you care to read. I'll get back to organizing those pics now ;):D

Great. You know i have to relay these messages to J. Now he wants to know if they'll fill growlers from anywhere? :rolleyes: Thanks, now you've got him thinking about road trips.:) Back to the Pics!

Shoot, if you all made a special road trip there would be at least 4 other breweries added and probably a trip to Asheville for wicked pub crawl...
Anyway, any growler that can be sealed with a heat shrink collar is acceptable in these parts, these are the types typically accepted down here as most venues have the collars to fit these:
