Pre-Trip Yes, Virginia, There is a going to be another Prophet TR...

Well we’ve just passed the 30 day threshold so I might as well put this out there. We’re at it again! You were with us in 2015 and again in 2016 so why not come along for 2017! This year we leave the in-laws at home but the kid is bringing a friend! So here are the details:

Who: DW(@imahistorygeek), DD(TheKid), and ME(@lostpro9het) We will also bring a friend of TheKid’s who I will call “The Fourth Wheel”

When: Dec17-Dec22

Where: Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jambo 1-bdrm value villa

We will be changing things up a little this year and will by trying out a food delivery service and attempt to cook in the room for a few dinners! We did line up a few ADRs but I’ll get into that a little later. I’m still on the fence about a live or a post TR, probably post so I can enjoy the time. Anyway, that’s it for now I’ll post more fun facts soon!

We got Tiffins for the first time in about 3 hours. We are still contemplating tomorrow’s dinner. Yachtsman and Artist Point are the front runners unless another CG magically opens up again.
I just sat down at my computer and what do I see, a view that was once before me.:(

I have two kids that will be there for 4 days between Christmas and New Years with their school band. The weather looks like it is perfect while you're there. Can you make it last through the 1st?

How's The Kid and The Fourth Wheel?

Excellent, actually. They had a little sticker shock the first day they ate lunch by themselves but regrouped and are now planning their meals better. We’re very happy they have each other to keep company.

And how many of the folks ahead of you actually have APs? We ran into that a couple times. If Mickey’s head turns blue and the CM must raise a hand for assistance I’m pretty sure you’re NOT a Passholder. :banghead:
All did, today, except 1. The real kicker of this line was the couple directly in front of us, red shirt/pink shirt. Apprently they were holding the line for about three generations of their family:mad:. When the CMs came to their post about 10 other people joined them and cut in front of us. If that wasnt bad enough, papi in the red shirt had all the APs and DIDN'T HAND THEM OUT UNTIL THEY GOT TO THE MICKEY HEAD!! This meant every descendant of papi had to come up one at at time when the CM called them to try their finger! They had at least 30 minutes to work out the passes while we waited.

Anyhow, already knocked out ToT standby and I am going to try to make things right at TSMM against my wife.

A whole family, about 10 people, one was clearly not AP holder. The blue circle of death kept lighting up. I was wondering how many times one guy was going to keep trying his ticket.

Y'all...don't be that guy. Same for FP line jumpers. In that case, Disney justice was served. CM sent them back to beginning of standby.
