I really did not get a chance to REALLY go out and joy ride in it this weekend... but everyone in my family that has saw it and has gone for a test drive with me is really impressed. (Side note: My father freaked out when I was doing 70mph in only 3rd gear yesterday, and started slaming on his imaginary passenger side brake :lol: )

Dad: "Woah... slow it down *stomps on imaginary brake*

Me: "Dude... I still got 2 more gears to go... What? "

I still got some more tweaking to do with the memory and program settings... but I pretty much got it where I want it.

I have noticed the idel is a bit lower than I want it to be (some times it drops to 500rpm) So I have to get that recailbrated on my next trip to the dealership.

Hmmmm what else... got the TYVEK car cover on order from the dealership... I tried looking for it on my own... but they either discontinued it... or changed the part numbers (Its Cadillac... its expected.. :lol: ) Its pretty sharp... its black and has the Cadillac wreath and crest embroidered on the front, its specially fitted and made for the CTS.

Drove the CTS into work today... the traffic was kinda heavy... but with the Manual Tranny... its not as bad as I thought it would be... its got a decent short throw (except into 5th gear) and the clutch is really not that heavy (thank god!)

Hehe, I was worried about traffic when I got mine too...but it's A-OK...and well worth not having the Auto (I impressed my cousin yesterday with some drifting...he nearly shat himself!... He said, "How do you do that?" and I said, "You drive a beat up old BMW...first step...get a different car...either that...or a car with no traction :lol: ")
