sigh...

why does the 4 to 5:00 hour always drag so long....?
you're really making me homesick! :( I wanna be having the hours drag (for a different reason than they already are! )

Time will pass...and then once you get down there it will pass at lightning speed!

Sorry about that! :)

I do hate that the days fly by when you're down there. It seems like it's in fast forward, and then all of a sudden you're back at work with 6,549 new e-mails to read.

Connor, when you get back here, I wanted to tell you about something that happened today.
I don't know if you're familiar with State Road around Linden Avenue where the Water Department and Police Academy are. The water treatment plant has a really large open area dotted with pump houses. This morning we were driving south on State Road when George spotted a deer in the field. We made a U-turn and pulled over to look and we could see 7 deer gathered in one spot under a tree. It was really amazing to see these animals just feet away from such a heavily travelled street. We just sat and watched for a bit. Then suddenly, a noise in the area scared the deer and all at once they took off across the field. We counted them as they ran - there were 14! 14 deer loping across a field in Northeast Philadelphia! It was really something to see! Of course we had no camera, but George will be scoping out the area. We were wondering how they got there! We figured they made their way through the park systems somehow. Wow!

Mom: You need more clothes.
Me: No, please, anything but that!
Mom: We're taking you shopping tonight.
Me: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Shopping isn't bad. It's easy. Just get whatever. In and out in a half an hour.

I need new clothes. I still wear shirts from 8th grade :lookaroun
