Here's to hoping some resolutions come up in 2008 or sooner. I'm losing it, ready to write some angry letters to NBC for playing reruns of The Office and advertising them as new episodes! :ROFLOL:

But seriously, I'm kind of over this strike, they really need to start writing again. Anyone else feel the same way?

I really, really miss new episodes of The Office. :lookaroun

I hear ya...but I wonder something...

how is Journeyman...STILL new? Actually, last week they had TWO new episodes...one on Monday and a special Wednesday night episode.

I would say that I miss Heroes the most.

I think that today is the last new episode of Scrubs, and I am seriously going to miss it.
And I miss The Office, too!
I am so addicted to TV. :lookaroun

Well, relating to this matter, does anyone know if Lost's fourth season will have a sixteen or eight episode run, as the later was rumored to happen due to the stike.

well, in some ways I am a happy camper. not only do I get new episodes of Law & Order in January, but Law & Order:Criminal Intent, which was relegated to a second banana status on USA, returns to NBC.

Wish I knew. Currently they've filmed 8 episodes, and they apparently begin Season 4 on January 31st.

The Office could've been new yesterday, it was a rerun. :"(
I feel bad for Scrubs fans though. Scrubs is in its finial season, they have no series finale. I'm thinking it'll go straight to DVD.

I thought last night was supposed to be a new episode, but it wasn't. It was the season premier from this season repeated.
I love Scrubs. :(

My favorite shows are Survivor and The Amazing Race, which are allegedly "without" writers so there's been no disruption in those shows.

Letterman's production company, Worldwide Pants, has signed an agreement with the WGA, and they will start new shows on January 2nd WITH writers. :sohappy:

Yeah, I'm seeing this too. Slowly, the talk shows are coming back one by one. I don't see that happening with the regular series though. Did anyone else see a fired-up Sandra Oh protesting. She was so serious jerking and yelling. But seriously, she had her scrub on and was out there protesting Disney, telling people to refrain from going to the parks and stuff like that. Any little acts by a large some of people can and will affect the 'greedy companies'. It was entertaining, and I can agree somewhat. But I'll definitely still be going to the parks.

While they planned in advance and shot a secondary season finale, would they start it back up in early spring as a new volume?

Yes, a new Volume called "Villains" starts sometime in 2008. They haven't committed to spring yet...it all depends on when this gets worked out.

Volume 2 seemed very disjointed to me. It took so long for the story to go anywhere...and then it was in fast forward mode for the last 3 episodes...with the finale...being "eh."

It was very obvious that the entire story was rewritten due to this strike. It seemed as if, originally, the virus was to get out...and you were to see the effects of it...and the Heroes would have to stop the virus from spreading and find a cure. Just stopping a vile from dropping on the floor seemed like a cop out to me.
