I could be wrong, but I think it's still there, just not advertised as well since they push resort T.V. so strong.

It'd be funny if you turn to the station and it's sooo outdated you'd hear Jack Wagner's voice talking about Horizon's being the new attraction at Epcot Center, Swimming fun at the old water hole at River Country and shopping and more at The Disney Village...

They used to have one farther up north. Near the old AAA stop maybe? I always look for signs on the way down but haven't seen them in years. :(

I remember this too and wondered what ever happened to it. It made that last 2 or 3 hours a ton of fun 'cause you knew you were getting close.

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
Last I heard... it was kaput. I think they pulled the plug on it 4 or 5 years ago... at least.

I want to say Ricky talking about it on one of the ITM shows a while ago and played some of the music they used to have on it also.

Was it this one? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WDYZ

I know a couple years ago, Love and I remembered about the station and spun through the whole AM dial looking to see if it was still on. We found something that might have been it but it was so hard to make out, I'm not sure. More recently, we looked again and couldn't find it. I can't recall what the station number was though.

I remember listening to a radio station while driving onto WDW property when I was about 5 years old... granted, that was 13 years ago. I also recall that the station played Disney park music (I remember hearing its a small world) and the station also announced park hours, new attractions, parade and firework times, etc... The man sounded a lot like Jack Wagner. I always search for it when I am on property, but I am never able to find it.

It would be a great thing for Disney to bring back. As a little girl, my vacation always started in the car, listening to the WDW Info AM radio station. :D

sorry guys, but the WDW radio is no more ... it used to be on the lower end of the am dial like 530 or 550 ... it was a low power frequency that you couldn't get once you got onto I-4 ( kinda like the ones drive-ins use to broadcast the sound for a movie ) ... but with the birth of radio disney, they felt the need was no longer there

I think it was:

810 AM entering Epcot
900 AM exiting Epcot

1030 AM entering MK
1200 AM exiting MK

I think they have been inactive since about 1998.
