Would you split World Showcase from Future World ????

There are a lot of people who like Epcot just for World Showcase and there are others who really just like Future World.

So, if you could, would you seperate World Showcase and Future World making them two seperate parks? Of course, you could expand each park accordingly so as to make them big enough to match the other parks.

What do you think? Would this work, why or why not???

I would definitely add a lot more countries to WS and do a huge refurb on FW as well as add more pavilions.

Would I have to get a park hopper ticket to go between both on the same day?

No way I would leave it the way it is. They just need to add a few new countries within the space they already have in World Showcase. They still have room to add pavilions in future world as well.

i dont think there would be a reason to, its like the both need each other. if they were separate, they would both be half day parks imho.

Yes, they would be half day parks by themselves. Thats why I said you can add on the parks if you were to seperate them.

While you're at it, why stop at a 5th gate? Charge separate admission to Fantasyland, Frontierland, Tomorrowland, Dinoland, Asia, etc. You could have 15 gates.

Not a chance I would split them up. I agree all you would end up with is two half day parks. The real answer is simple (at least for the arm chair CEO :animwink:) put the weather pavilion into WOL, fix imagination, add another country to world showcase and add 1 e-ticket and 1 d/c-ticket to world showcase. Bingo problem solved! See how easy that is? Now if only I could get Disney to see this.:D

Splitting up all of the parks would be a really, really, bad idea, because all the parks would become half-day parks.
I am already happy with all 4 Disney parks just the way they are.

That would ruin what makes EPCOT so special. If you aren't a big fan of the lines for Soarin' and Test Track already, imagine how long they would be if you didn't have World Showcase to help disperse the crowds. And what are you going to do for IllumiNations, tell the people in Future World not to look? :lol:

Its just as I thought, the concensus would be to leave the parks together. Great feedback! Keep it coming! :sohappy:

What?
Come up with some RIDICULOUS idea and then ask for discussion?

Splitting Epcot would create a backlash like nothing else WDW has ever experienced. There's a better chance of a cat being elected President.

thread = fail

Calm down buddy. It was just a question...for discussion. Thats it. Obviously this will never happen, its not that serious. But I guess we know where you stand on the subject. :rolleyes:
