Would YOU sign up for a 7-hour Star Wars tour of Hollywood Studios?

I just don't see how it can last 7 hours. After SWL is opened I see this being a great idea, especially for my SW obsessed brother who could care less about everything else at WDW. But until then, just seems like a waste of a day.

My guess is that they're including the 3 shows (including JTA?) and dessert party in the "7 hours", plus a meal. The time frame makes sense with that.

Luke, what do you think? Worth the money?

Have been a fan of Star Wars since the original movie, but with the state of the Star Wars presence in the Studios at this time, NO WAY.

Really, you don't think there's a big presence in the park now? It felt completely different to me than last year did.

OP- you should have also said.. "do you do any upcharges events, and are you a SW fan" in your original post. ;)

At the end of the day, it's your money and your time.
If you're on the fence - just go for it. Worst case scenario you are one and done.
If you think it would be a complete waste of time from the get go- skip it.

It is currently a collection of poorly conceived and rushed through "we know we're missing the boat" filler that's an incoherent mess.

And I grew up with the original film (now what the youngsters refer to as episode 4 I believe)
We absolutely loved the shows and the Stormtroopers walking around and interacting with us.

Hasn't the desert party and night time show been getting a ton of positive reviews? It's the thing I was looking forward to the most, still sad that we missed it.

Point being- that's a huge part of this "tour" money wise. Chewy and Kylo Ren don't have FPs, so that saves at least an hour of someone's time with that meet and greet..allowing them to do more of a tour of Launch Bay..we didn't even have time to do that and were at the park open to close...sad about that as well.

IF someone wants to do ALL of the SW stuff, and most of everything else at the park...there's no way to fit it in during 1 day. I cancelled our late lunch reservation in an attempt to try..but even without a TS meal it wasn't possible.

I wouldn't buy a SW cup, tee-shirt, stuffed animal, or keychain from Disney. I enjoy the movies and eagerly anticipate future films. But Disney has turned a classic film series into a money grab.
