Would you go to WDW & DL in same month?

Given that this is a message board for and by Disney fans, I may already know the answer to this question, but here goes:

I am taking my family of four to WDW for an Easter/spring break trip. We are all big Disney fans - my wife and I are former cast members and we are also former Florida residents so my teen and almost teen have been treated to multiple trips to WDW over the past decade.

I have to go to L.A. on business at the end of the month, and the opportunity has arisen to take the whole family with me. I have been to Disneyland once. None of the rest have ever been.

With all there is to do in L.A., and having just been on a four day immersion at Walt Disney World, WOULD YOU get a day ticket to Disneyland or save it for another trip when you haven't just come from a trip to the big mouse house?

I have been to both on the same day! :D When I was working at WDW I took a vacation to DL. I went to the MK at opening to see some friends and rode a couple of things, flew out of orlando at Noon...and then spent the evening at DL! It was awesome..and kind of surreal

My family and I are planning on doing both DL and WDW in one trip. We're driving across country next summer, so we'll go to DL first and then MK on the way home! I can't wait...there's never too much Disney!

A little late on this topic but....

If you were gonna do both in one month, I would do DL first for of you did WDW first you will be terribly disapointed Im afraid. The size of the entire property is the first, most noticable feature. WDW is huge, DL is a compound surrounded by residency areas.

I havent been to DL in 3 years but the park then while meticulously kept looks its age somewhat in my opinion especially Fantasyland (but I do think they keep it this way on purpose). The options are limited there as well 2 parks, a much smaller Downtown area and the 3 hotels.
