Keep Aerosmith. I don't want to imagine the stuff they've got to replace Aerosmith with if they do replace them. "Hey everyone, lets ride the High School Musical Pop Star Coaster!"

Steven Tyler sang "God Bless America" at Fenway Park Sunday night. It wasn't the most majestic moment in ballpark music history.

It was a great rendition (and game too!).

I can't picture any other band in this ride. Haha, I'd love to have a White Stripes Rock'n' Roller Coaster, but I don't think that would ever happen. They'd have to theme everything to be red, white and black or Jack White wouldn't approve

Personally, I am not a huge Aerosmith fan, so it wouldn't kill me if they changed the artist. That being said, there are not too many currently living and working bands that have the legacy, song catalogue and caché that Aerosmith brings to the table.

arg id cry, but I would accept maybe the beatles, tom petty, any good solid classics =] even though both are impossible.

I love Aerosmith so no.

If they replaced it with someone like Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix or Queen which is all highly unlikely I wouldn't be that upset but because those 3 are unlikely I would be unhappy aye.

Edit - Or RHCP!

I voted to keep Aerosmith, but if they can do a preshow with Freddy Mercury, Jimi, or John Bonham then I might reconsider.

Seriously, Aerosmith is the perfect choice. They are probably the greatest American rock band, and have had hits in several decades spanning many eras and generations. They straddle the worlds of heavy metal, rock, and pop--they even collaborated on one of the earliest rap hits. They are critically respected and commercially popular. Figure in the underdog comeback story that people love and it would be hard to find a suitable replacement.

As far as the drugs finding any rock act without any drug use would be difficult, and Aerosmith had an extremely long run of sobriety.

Well, it depends on the replacement...
Miley Cyrus / Hannah Montana = No
Jonas Bros. = No
Nick Jonas and the Administration = No
Demi Lovato = No
Selena Gomez = No
Other kiddie Disney label = No

That being said, if you're trying to market an attraction to the 16-30 demographic now, who do you use?

Each to his own, but to me Aerosmith is by far one of the weakest classic rock bands in terms of solid releases through the years. They only have a couple of great albums as far as I am concerned. Sure they have many good hits, but their overall body of work is lacking.

With that being said, I think they fit the ride very well and their tunes are a great match with the fast coaster train. I would be happy to see them being replaced by another classic rock band, but knowking Disney and the quality of their in-house musical "talent" I think Aerosmith is the best option.

you cant replace aerosmith with any preteen band. they just dont have the staying power or rock of years gone by. Other groups could replace them, but they have to be hard core rockers, like led zeppelin, stones, metallica, kiss, or any number of others. Just make them high speed like the ride! I prefer to keepp it aerosmith. I like hearing sweet emotion by the donut shop.
