MSV has to be the most stressful job at the parks. You have to have 300% concentration at all times.Out in California they run all day and night with breaks for shows of course.

They all seem to love the job, seems to have a very low turnover rate.MSV has to be the most stressful job at the parks. You have to have 300% concentration at all times.
And it isn’t like they drive that fast anyways. The horse trolly might seem hard, but there’s sometimes a CM to break the crowd in front of it, and the horses wouldn’t run someone over. Vehicle wise, I’d think the bus would be by far the most stressful/hard. Cars go 100mph+ on World Drive, and the majority go somewhere around 60-65mph. With a bus, the CM cant really even 5mph over for too long, so merging must be a night mare when the road is busy! They all seem to love the job, seems to have a very low turnover rate.
The views aren’t Magic ruining in my opinion. I do feel that way for the train at DAK.Going to say the railroad, it’s such a wasted potential. Compare it to the other park’s railroads with their dioramas and it comes up short, nothing basically happens and you get quite a few views of backstage areas which dilute the magic.
I’d say safaris are more stressful, children aren’t endangered lolMSV has to be the most stressful job at the parks. You have to have 300% concentration at all times.
The animals are smarter than the people and won't dart directly in front of the vehicle.I’d say safaris are more stressful, children aren’t endangered lol
True! HahaThe animals are smarter than the people and won't dart directly in front of the vehicle.
Tom sawyer island is fairly large (although in MK space constraints really shouldnt exist), and is not well utilized. A clear example is Aunt Pollys. If something was over at tom sawyer island that drew guests that restaurant would be open. Its great for kids but is dated (I assume most kids just enjoy running around it, with no idea of the IP), and if people might be surprised what all is there, like the rifles that you can point at people and pretend to shoot (little dated). Now logistically I dont know if much can be done with it, or if they are stuck with what it is. With ADA and its size, and getting people there etc, I dont know. I also dont know if Aunt Pollys real closure is due to logistics as well, staff and food.Interesting that you're mentioning two attractions that have both changed at DL. Country Bear Jamboree is now the Pooh ride and Tom Sawyer Island has been Pirate Island for years now. Are they improvements? Not really, IMHO.
How can you be a fox and the hound fan, and be so wrong on tiki and the jungle cruise?I also vote speedway- how difficult would it be to install some Disney character topiaries and update the vehicles? The fact that they made no changes when they installed Tron (besides shortening it) is unforgivable.
Tiki bird is also up there. Not something I ever think to see. Once was enough.
And while it is not at the top of my list, and I know I will get destroyed for saying this….I am not enamored with the Jungle Cruise. I love the idea of the jungle cruise, love the place-making of the docks and boarding the boats, but once the journey starts it is outdated AAs and corny jokes that fall flat and have been heard a million times. And the ride depends on a good skipper. If you get a lousy one it is almost painful being stuck on a boat politely laughing at someone that is just not funny. It feels awkward and cringey. Usually when the ride is over I just want to get off the boat. I kinda wish the skipper would not talk and just let us drive around and look at stuff. #sorrynotsorry
Yes. In both parks they are great for what they are and really add to the charm of the park.Havent been to disneyland, is pirate island the same thing just rethemed to pirates?
Will they shut down the attraction every hour for the vehicles to charge an hour?ONLY because of that stupid center rail…I’m choosing the speedway…it’s time for Elon to step up and along with Tesla and Space X, retheme the speedway and Mission:Space…it’s time to take both attractions into the 21st centuries while we’re still IN the 21st century..
Nope, they’ll have enough cars to swap out when needed and I don’t think they’ll need to be recharged hourly…but if that’s your argument for keeping the Briggs & Stratton cars, have at it…I’m one of the people who LOVE the smell of gasoline and the exhaust but even I know it’s inevitable and this change (rather than eliminating the speedway in its entirety) is necessary. Will they shut down the attraction every hour for the vehicles to charge an hour?![]()
I don’t know how it worked but Autopia in hong kong had electric vehiclesNope, they’ll have enough cars to swap out when needed and I don’t think they’ll need to be recharged hourly…but if that’s your argument for keeping the Briggs & Stratton cars, have at it…I’m one of the people who LOVE the smell of gasoline and the exhaust but even I know it’s inevitable and this change (rather than eliminating the speedway in its entirety) is necessary.
Electric cars are more of a sign of going backwards, not Tomorrowland, in my view. Who wants to wait for those stupid things to charge? Plus, part of the charm is the sound and feel of a gasoline car. Probably would do more harm to the environment swapping them all out anyway.Nope, they’ll have enough cars to swap out when needed and I don’t think they’ll need to be recharged hourly…but if that’s your argument for keeping the Briggs & Stratton cars, have at it…I’m one of the people who LOVE the smell of gasoline and the exhaust but even I know it’s inevitable and this change (rather than eliminating the speedway in its entirety) is necessary.
