Wow. Thank you, as always, for your insight and info here!
I'd love for them to take this opportunity to rework the show entirely. They also need to figure out a way to keep this ugly infrastructure sunken underwater until just before show time. That they drag this ugly monstrosity up from the depths every day and work on it while the park is running is just inexcusable. I'm sure there's some TDA manager who says
"But we've got to purge the check valves and calibrate the flux capacitors!"
But when you have to do this every day in the middle of an operating theme park,
you've utterly failed at showmanship...
And if you are a manager in TDA in charge of stuff like this, your sole job is showmanship. And they've failed at it here.
Fantasmic! was designed to be invisible during the day, and then put on an amazing show at night. World of Color should have to live up to that exact standard, not play by Six Flags level rules.
