Well remember Wondrous Journeys is a tribute to Walt Disney animation studios while World of Color One is theme to Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars with 6 animated Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Well that comment was based on the show flow- not if they belong or not but I will ask… says who?

Also… we have 2 different night time shows for the 100 but no Mickey? I thought it was all started by a mouse or something

WOC: ONE actually open with Walt first, including his quote, followed by snippet of Mickey's appearance in his shorts "Mr. Mouse Takes a Trip" (1940)

WOC: One finale was altered. Now, the wait times between Walt Disney's scene and WOC: One logo are shortened and World of Color: ONE logo has been shown after Walt's quote instead of Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color opening credit, which then appears before ONE logo. Surprisingly, no flamethrower finale at the end, just like during cast member and media preview on January 25, except no high wind happens.

You can actually see it shoot in the air (what is shot up and usually lights on fire), but it seems something didn’t spark.

Love the change they made to this finale. Still feel like they wasted this pretty good song on a mediocre show (same feeling I had with "Someday" in Harmonious).

That’s why WoC: One should have been more theme to live action Disney films, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, and 20th Century Studios.
Would be more sense for this show if it solely focused to live-action films (including the remake) Disney itself or via Touchstone/Hollywood made from 1950, and Disney acquired IP's (include animated ones that actually not produced by Disney but distributed by Disney), ranging from Miramax IP (1993) to 20th Century Fox IP (2019).
I actually didn't like to see many contents from Disney-produced animated films overlapped between two shows since there also a nighttime spectacular across esplanade dedicated solely for Disney-produced animated films (Wondrous Journeys).

"Disneyland fans who have always wanted to be part of the show during “World of Color” will be able to ride the Incredicoaster and other Pixar Pier attractions while the nighttime spectacular plays at Disney California Adventure.

In the coming weeks, Incredicoaster, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind and Jumpin’ Jellyfish may run later than usual in the evening during “World of Color – One” performances as Disney California Adventure conducts operational tests on select attractions, according to Disneyland officials.

Disneyland die-hards who want to watch the water show from a new and unique perspective will need to time their rides on the three attractions to coincide with the nightly performances.

DCA typically closes Incredicoaster, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind and Jumpin’ Jellyfish during the water show that plays out on Paradise Bay with the roller coaster’s support structure serving as a massive backdrop for the nighttime spectacular.

Operating the steel roller coaster, spinning balloon ride and parachute jump attraction during “World of Color” will add a layer of kinetic energy to the water show that employs video projections, mist screens, water cannons and other special effects."

"Jessie’s Critter Carousel and Pixar-Pal-A-Round will continue to remain closed during “World of Color — One” performances while Disney California Adventure conducts the operational tests, according to Disneyland officials. Toy Story Midway Mania will continue to operate during “World of Color” shows."

How much will they charge?

How much will they charge?

Earlier this year, I had mentioned in another thread that upcharged Lighting Lane options would likely lead to a renewed push by TDA execs, who are largely out of touch and have no knowledge of ride capacity, to start demanding higher capacity rides from WDI designers.

But this seems to be a secondary reason. They can charge for Genie+ and Lightning Lane purchases for Pixar Pier rides for the full operating day, instead of shutting them down two hours early for the water show. Duh!

Shutting rides down for fireworks and World of Color has ALWAYS seemed like an idiotic idea to me. But that's because I was a regular paid customer of the theme parks, and was not an out of touch TDA executive who only experiences the product via valet parking at the Grand Californian and a comp ticket loaded up with Re-Ads or Digital Fastpasses or Lightning Lane reservations (depending on what year it was).

Suddenly, it's 1965 again and rides that are closed are now rides that aren't making money. So get those damn rides open, even during the water show and the fireworks! 🤔
