working out for Disney

I'm loving the heat and humidity at home! Makes being here almost fun. I went out and walked 4 miles in the sunshine and humidity! After the winter we had no complaining about heat from me!:D
I know I shouldn't be complaining since I love hot weather!! But, I have been making granola and basil pesto in the kitchen with no a/c on and "perspiring" as @real mad hatter tells me, and it dripping down my back. Not a pleasant sight right now!!:rolleyes:

A most wonderful morning it is here up on top of my mountain. The post trip depression hasn't set in yet. Thanks to all here. This morning I pulled out an old dvd called 6 round slim down. I hadn't done it in quite a while and wow it was fun. Exhausting, challenging but fun! I followed this up with 5 indoor miles with boosters. Still trying to figure out the menu for the day. Thinking a mixed baby greens, blueberry smoothie for breakfast, veggie burger and salad for lunch and stir fry for dinner. My dh has off today so we're going to be doing something with the boys. I'm hoping the weather holds and we get to the lake, if not Disneyland connect and a Disney movie should keep our spirits up. As always I hope you are all well and moving and have a most magical weekend

Good Morning Magic Friends!

Woke up sore but feeling good! 60 minutes of a vinyassa flow and 15 minutes of meditation. Strangly I had zero discomfort. Tonight I am going for an Aerial Yoga Class, very excited! I was so afraid I would not make it with this leg but, I am going. I will honor my body and only do what I can! :D

Breakfast is a veggie smoothie with a shot of veggie protein. I am trying to cut out carbs but it is super hard! I have bean soup for lunch with kale and for dinner it's out with my Yoga buddies after our class. It will probably be a salad!

I am trying to cut out carbs but it is super hard!

Low carb is really difficult to start with especially when the body starts to wonder where all its carbs have gone.Having been low carb for over a year now it does get easier and we find ourselves eating more things than when we ate whatever we want .

One good thing, I am not a big pasta or rice eater but, I do enjoy my veggies and fruit. I am just cutting back on my fruits for a wee bit and cutting out the wraps I often use to wrap my avocado and tomatoes, I will replace them with lettuce instead.

Hope everyone is doing well!! @MR FERRET hope you and the mrs have a great weekend. You are doing fine on your diet. So just eat healthy and in moderation, and you will be great. Keep moving!!

Good morning. Today is going to be another busy summer day. I did manage to get up and do Boost Your metabolism and a quick 5 mile walk. I'm going to try and go raw again today. I tried yesterday and made it to dinner where I just felt the need to warm my broccoli and have a slice of WW homemade bread. I'm going to try and cook and put a few things away for the week so my oven isn't going when it gets hotter later this week. I hope you all are having a great weekend xoxo

Checking in a wee bit llate! This weekend has been FULL. Healing nicely amd life is back to normal. Packing, teaching and practicing yoga! I practiced Ariel Yoga for the first time. Totally awesome stuff.
I will check in Tommorow, last day until I come back from Ireland.

Good morning. It's raining and I don't know if I'll get out for the next few days:mad:. Bad stuff over let's move on to the happy! I did Jillian Michael's Extreme Shed and Shred. Wow I'm starting to really like mixing up my workouts. This one is a little crazy. It's a fusion of plyo, weights, yoga, kickboxing etc. At over an hour long and lots of new moves I had to keep thing about what I was doing. I took some modifications but I made it through. I followed that up with 3 indoor miles. Thinking about a veggie burger and broccoli for breakfast. I'll be spending a lot of time cooking today as the weather held yesterday and I spent lots of time in my garden. I hope you all have a great day and @LuLaSue you'll really be missed around here. xoxo

Thanks @figmentfan423 I will miss you all but, I will be journeling our Adventures by Disney experience and be sure to share it!

I went to work today, we have a 4:15 pick-up to the airport. I got in a solid 90 practice this morning, I was to excited I could not sleep...lol

Food...hmmmm....I am NOT hungry! I know thats not good but, I will just chalk it up to excitement and ride the wave! Love to all and I will be back next Thursday!
