Today was a quick power yoga day.

My mother and grandmother went home today. I am dreading stepping on the scale, because we did dine out a lot. I did try my best. Tomorrow is my weigh in. I am a few pounds below my goal weight, but I like some wiggle room.
Stop worrying about the scale. How your jeans fit is more important, weight can go up after eating out due to water retention and you've been under a bit of stress. So relax eat healthy and keep working out. You'll be fine:joyfull:

Good morning 5 fast miles and I'm heading out shopping and mall walking. My dh has decided to run the smoker and invite a few people over this weekend. The boys are home more now so I see to have run very low on food, so add that to the already long list. Something tells me I'm going to need some yoga for relaxation tonight:banghead:

I usually don't, but I am still doing Weight Watchers and I get these little messages though the app when I have a gain. They are meant to be supportive messages, but sometimes they are messages like, "Uh, oh, looks like you're not tracking your meals." or something like that. :cautious:

I've got an answer for those:D
it may involve the use of a cast iron frying pan

Going camping today through Tuesday, but it is raining buckets right now so we may delay the camping trip until tomorrow. There will be some hiking involved to make up for the extra burgers cooked on the campfire. Something about campfire food makes it extra tasty. Blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes cooked on the griddle under the trees...yes please.

I got my hair cut/colored and my eyebrows waxed yesterday. This morning, when I woke up, I couldn't open my left eye. My eye lid and the area below my eyebrow were totally swollen. I got out of bed, thinking gravity would help pull the fluid away. I've taken ibuprofen for the swelling, iced it, and it's gone down a bit. I can open my eye a bit more, but it's still very swollen. I've never had this reaction from an eye brow waxing before. Crazy!

I'm hoping the swelling goes down before I workout later on.

I've never had my eyebrows waxed. But are you sure it's not infected? It seems so odd to swell up like that. I've never heard of that.

Hugs and I hope so too, OUCH I don't know if you want to try it when you're better but I switched to threading a while back. It stings a bit more when I get it done but no redness or problems and it seems to last a few days longer. I also like the look a bit better. Get well soon xoxo

Years ago, I used to get them threaded and I loved it. No breakouts or scabby skin afterwards. I went to college that was adjacent to an Indian neighborhood, so I would go when I got a break in classes. I think I will find somewhere that threads. I just like the whole "one stop beauty" thing, but I don't want to look like this again. LOL

I have really sensitive skin. I tried a new sunscreen and I am currently paying for it with an acne breakout. I think I have made my skin angry. I will definitely keep an eye on it. It doesn't hurt at all, it's just really puffy. It been looking better as the day goes on, so that's a good sign. :)

You're a smart woman. I've yet to find a one stop place.:( The nice thing about a different place for hair, nail and brows is I have an excuse to escape when I need it:joyfull:

Hugs, we've had good luck with neutrogena cream not spray. James and my dh can't use any of the aerosoles sp?

I have and it may well be an infection or even a burn.
Oh, I hadn't thought of a burn, but yes, that could be. I'm glad my husband doesn't like the look of waxed/plucked eyebrows...I don't have to endure the torture. Not that I would, even if he DID like it, but it makes me feel less guilty for not willing to endure that for him. :hilarious:

Happy Farm Market Saturday. I got my 5 miles in and am heading out for the opening of the Farm market today:joyfull: Today's icky weather makes for time to do all the prep for tomorrow's BBQ and a couple of short practices while food is in the pressure cooker or rice cooker:joyfull: Tonight's dinner chicken lettuce wraps with lentils instead of chicken. I'm keeping it light because the guys will pig out tomorrow:hilarious:
