Good morning some zumba and a bit of LS walking so far. I'm heading out with the group as soon as the bus leaves and hitting the pool when the bus returns:joyfull: I'm not sure how much real swimming I'll do if any my arms are a bit tingly after yesterday:joyfull: Enjoy the wonderful weather but stay safe, sunscreened and hydrated.

Oh no!!! Not a "Pearl clutcher!!" What is that anyway? Yikes...sounds like they were not strictly workout videos. But I'm glad she is back and doing stuff her own way now. Strong woman!

It's a pithy way of telling a woman she is easily upset/offended. Instead of just saying, "I disagree with your assessment," they throw out insults. It just shuts down any discussion.

Didn't sleep well last night, and normally I would have used that as an excuse to push back my alarm. Instead, I got up even earlier than planned and did a 30-minute workout. Three sections of a "10 Minute Solutions" DVD called Carb Burner; low impact aerobics, kickboxing, and upper and lower body moves with weights.

I've gotta do better for breakfast than a bowl of Cheerios. Barely gets me to my desk. I eat oatmeal in the cooler weather, but it's too dang hot now. Maybe I should cook up some hard-boiled eggs and have them on hand in the fridge.

Way to go, you're off to a great start. Maybe with the warm weather a smoothie might be the way to go. When I need some extra oomf in the morning I blend up 1/2 frozen banana, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, one scoop raw warrior protein powder and unsweetened coconut milk, sometimes I'll add in some chia seeds &/or some almond butter if I go heavy with weights. I also put in some baby spinach or kale for the micronutrients. I don't notice any change in taste your mileage may vary

Hello-

I forgot to post yesterday, but I went for an early 90 minute stroll in my neighborhood. It's a good way to get to know the area. Then I did a 30 minute power yoga practice. It was really wasn't yoga, but more like a series of stretching moves.

I am waiting for this storm to pass to go out. Then I'll do my kettle bell workout later on. My son finished school Monday and he is plowing through food like water. I bought ice cream and made a cake on Sunday, since we had company. It was gone by Monday afternoon. I grilled extra chicken on Sunday, thinking I would eat them for lunch as a salad this week. Again, gone by lunch time Monday. Ridiculous.

Good morning! Getting my walks in after the gas line crews leave for the day. This morning, I was woken up with the sounds of a big bulldozer digging. Ugh! At least they aren't still beside the house, just down the road 100 feet.
Dinner is going to be grilled fish and veggies. When it is this hot, I just cannot cook elaborate meals. Have a good day! :)

That sounds wonderfully health and nutritious! I wish I liked smoothies... It's a texture thing, I also can't eat rice pudding, chocolate pudding (really, any kind of pudding), full-fat yogurt, greek yogurt, whipped cream, buttercream, milkshakes, and so on. I'm weird. :D

Still at it! Three 10-minute workouts again today, this time Quick Fix Abs. They take so much time explaining the moves, though, I think there's only about 22 minutes of actual workout! I have a few Quick Fix DVDs. They're from the early 00s, but I enjoy the instructors.

I had two slices of whole-grain toast with apple jelly (homemade by my aunt's neighbor in Ireland, I carried it home last time I visited!), which definitely lasted longer than Cheerios. :) It's almost lunchtime, and I'm not yet ravenous.

I keep hoping that the morning workouts will help me sleep better, but so far no luck with that. :hungover:

Well, at least he's snacking on healthy stuff...that's got to be worth something. Right? At the rate my DS is going, we'll be perfectly safe with leftovers in the fridge when he's a teen. He won't eat any of it anyway.

I almost forgot to check in today:confused: 10 miles(combo of inside and out), weights(mostly upper body) and yoga with Adrienne sun salutations out on my deck in the sun:joyfull: Still going raw and I'm feeling really good. Sometimes I think raw is just an excuse to spring for the good house ground almond butter from my local health food store:facepalm: While we're on the subject of teenage boys, I bought 6 pounds of organic pears(on sale cheaper than commercial) on Saturday and they were gone this morning:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: at least they left me one tomato:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: I don't dare tell you how many I bought:eek::eek::eek::eek:

My son was like that, too. I swear, he lived on air when he was younger. He is one of those tall, skinny kids. Then about three years ago, mass consumption of food commenced.

I got out for a walk today. It was much more comfortable today.

I went for a walk after lunch with a co-worker. We have a small group who like to walk, one of whom is the boss' son. I've known him since he was 3 years old, and he's always been a little lazy. After the second or 3rd time I went walking with him and another guy, he told me I needed to slow down, the walk was supposed to be meditative, not a workout. I made sure to include a few ladies in the group, so we outnumber him now. The walk is a workout. ;)

Today was a bit warm, considering I was wearing a dress and pantyhose.:cautious:

That sounds very tasty! I love homemade jam and jelly. Once in a while if I go to a farmer's market, they might have someone there who is selling some. I'll buy a few jars. :hungry:

It is very tasty! It's actually crabapple jelly with cloves. Sweet and savory, just the way I like things!! :)
