Good morning. I wound up doing today's weights yesterday:joyfull: so today so far I did 4 LS miles and I'm hoping to do a couple outside before the rain comes in. I've switched yoga to when my dh is sleeping for now and will see how that goes over the next week or two. Even though he sleeps with ear plugs in I don't want to have music blasting when he's asleep. Tonight's dinner veggie curry:hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry:

I have been craving a tofu-veggie coconut curry lately. I think I have some red Thai curry paste in the fridge and a can of coconut milk in my pantry. :hungry::inlove:

Hello-

I did a spinning class today. I feel like I should have taken a rest day. :hungover:

I think tomorrow I am going to finally try to bake macarons. They are supposed to be difficult. I've been reading about different methods to make them "fool proof." I'll just go into it hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. LOL

It's going to be 80 on Monday. :inlove: My son is off next week, so I am hoping we can do some things together. :)

Macaroons aren't too bad. Just think meringue and make sure to use cream of tarter. I hope you and you ds have some fun. Have you been to the Philly zoo yet?

I just keep hearing horror stories of not mixing the the almond meal/confectioners' sugar "correctly" with meringue. I have also never used a piping bag with a tip before. I found an untouched set in my old house when we moved. I don't know how it got there, but there are loads of piping bags and many different tips.

I haven't been to the Zoo yet. My husband is off Monday, so maybe we'll check it out.

That must have been the thunder that was down here a good portion of the day. Boo.

Hello-

I did a HIIT workout followed by a quick lower body workout. I am wiped out. LOL

I think I need to eat just a bit more. I started doing 6 days last week and I think I either need to drop a day or scale back the intensity of my work outs a day or two. I have been so tired all day. I am glad the warmer weather is coming. I'll be able to get some longer walks in. :)

I find it easier to balance food and exercise once the nicer weather moves in. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate winter?

I made my macaron shells and they look decent for the first time making them. I tried to pipe all of them onto one baking sheet, which turned out to be a big mistake. I think I could have cooked them a minute or two longer. I cracked the tops of some of the shells when trying to pry them off the baking sheet, so I think they were slightly undercooked. Also, some of them "grew" together. But they are still tasty.

I made some home made lemon curd and when it cools a bit, I will fill the shells.

They did "grow feet" when I baked them, so that's a good thing. "Feet" are those frilly edges on the shell. At least I did that right. :hilarious:

In all, I learned a lot from just trying. I've taken note of what to do differently next time.

EDIT: I took a photo of (some) them.

Good morning today is inside walking and Shiva Rea's more daily energy. It's warm enough to walk outside but the wind would blow me half way around town:hilarious: Today's cooking experiment quinoa pancakes, wish me luck

Wow! Those look very professional. I wouldn't even attempt to try and make meringues. I remember years ago my mother telling me that it's a detailed, precise method to follow--she had a few meringue disasters, as I recall. ;)

Good, no make that a glorious morning to all of you:joyfull:. The moon is shining, 5 miles LS are done and I'm soon going out walking with my group.:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull: I'll decide on which practice to do after I'm in for the day. If I get a total of 10 miles done it may just be a simple meditation and relaxation practice:joyfull:
