Good morning! We had less than an inch of snow last night. Schools running two-hour delay. Roads are clear here.
Have lots of errands this week.
Weekend was busy with changing out some copper water lines to pex. Had dinner out and some down time.
Walking and weights are on schedule for today. Salmon and kale-quinoa salad for dinner.
Chloe still doing well. Still transitioning to the new cat food. Keeping fingers crossed her health keeps going up!
Hope you all have a great day!!

I'm glad your kitteh is still doing well. :)

I have been getting these weird little "injuries."

My washing machine bit the dust and it is up on a platform next to the dryer. It wasn't a big deal because it was a front loader. My husband bought a top loader. On Saturday, I did my first load in it and when I went to retrieve the socks wayyy on the bottom. I was standing on a little bit of the platform and I pulled a muscle in my neck while trying to stretch and reach for them. Boo. My husband bought me a little step ladder so I can do laundry. LOL

Then yesterday, I was doing a cathartic kickboxing workout and I was way too into it. I hurt my right shoulder doing a right hook. :hilarious:

It feels better today, but I am going to do a workout later on that doesn't involve arm work.

I meant to share that I cooked a really easy tofu dish over the weekend. Rarely use tofu, but this was so easy--just cut up tofu into medium/small squares. Heat up a small amount of olive oil in electric skillet. Throw in some thinly sliced carrots and pea pods. Stir fry until cooked. Then, put the tofu and some bean sprouts and cook a short time, while pouring in some (lower salt) soy sauce. Serve over brown rice. Wasn't bad for an all veggie meal! :p

My husband was away for work last week. I roasted a bunch of tofu seasoned with soy sauce and nutritional yeast on Monday and then had that for dinner with rice and veggies every night. I get so lazy when I only have to cook for myself.

Ha! Well, at least you cook for yourself. During the work week, I just graze like a cow :D at night when I get home. I eat anything that's already prepared--hommus, crackers, salsa, cheese, peanut butter -- anything that does not require any effort at all. (I eat dinner on my lunch break at work during the week.)

It's 61 and sunny, Brrrr! Thanks for asking, it has been tough, but, those of us down south are a strong group and we will make it. It's nice to know that someone really cares. :angelic::)

Glad to see you're still doing your weight lifting workout, no matter what the weather. ;)

Good afternoon! So things were going pretty good and then I haven't gotten rid of this cough since Christmas. I decided after having to use the inhaler again last night that I needed to do something about it. So I went to Urgent Care this morning. After sitting for 1 1/2 hrs. in the waiting room with people that looked like they had the flu and may pass out any minute, I got to see a PA. I have bronchitis again!! Really?? So here I am this afternoon on drugs again. This time I got that z pack medicine added to the cough pills and another inhaler. Never had the z pack but my DD says it works fast. So all I want to do right now is crawl in the bed. Between it and the cough pills, I feel very tired and drowsy. My blood pressure always goes up when I am sick and get anywhere near a doctor's office. My Mom does the same. Yeah, it was 180/50!! Think it is time to have it checked out, so made an appt in March with my DH's dtr.
On a lighter note, I weighed Chloe today and she has gained all the weight she lost back!!!!:cat: (hops up and down) And she is eating and drinking normally.
When is Spring going to get here so we can all stay well??:arghh: Take care everyone and have a good evening!;)

I may or may not be around for a bit but LS and JS are still at the top of my rotation and of course I'm still trying to eat as best I can. Hope to be back daily soon

Good morning some Jessica Smith HIIT to start the day. My shoulder is much better but still stiff so I'm still being careful. (I really miss my daily yoga:() BTW I wasn't kidding about dinner tonight(chit chat thread), well not exactly. We are having bacon cheeseburgers (black bean, tofu bacon and daiya cheese), baked french fries, salad and "milk shakes"(almost frozen coconut milk and frozen fruit with just a bit of stevia mixed in the blender)
