Got my walk in this afternoon since we will be out celebrating our 36th w anniversary tonight. Where did 36 years go?? Seems like just yesterday  You are right @epcotisbest, today feels like summer again, not fallish at all. We are very dry and dusty too. No rain here for 3 weeks now.
Happy anniversary!! 36 years,...way to go! So many couples these days call it quits way before that!
My hubby and I have been married for 15 years tomorrow. We celebrated a couple of weeks ago, though, because my FIL had surgery Thursday and we needed a babysitter so we could go out and he will be kind of out of commission for a month or two. Celebrating a couple of weeks early is a small price to pay for free babysitting. Plus, I think he and my MIL were glad for a chance to spend some time with the grandchildren finally since we were gone the entire summer vacation. I would guess with 36 years of marriage, you probably don't have to worry about a babysitter. So what are you doing to celebrate?

Good morning another glorious day here! 5 advanced LS miles and I'm going out in a few when the sun comes out. I'm not liking the later sunrise because I get a later start. Oh well at least we'll be able to go swimming today and tomorrow. Friday is still up in the air weather wise. At least I'm going to the big farm market earlier on Friday so either way I'll have fun. Kale, coconut and berry smoothie for breakfast, salad with some leftover baked tofu and veggie soup(it's more like a stew) for dinner. Hope all of you have a great day!

Hi! Thanks! I wish you more years of happiness too!! Yeah no babysitter. Our DD had her 31st bday earlier this week. She is married so not at home. The cat can look after herself! Lol
My DH took off early and we went out to eat dinner. We are car shopping on Friday so maybe a new car?? Keeping fingers crossed!

Good morning!!! A very Fall morning! Gorgeous blue skies and sunshine!
And what do you know. Turned on the Weather Channel and Jim Cantore and team are down the road at the corn maze!! They make a John Deere tractor design each year at the apple orchard. TWC had a drone and it gave the prettiest view. You could see our house and the neighborhood. Cool!
Getting outside and cleaning up some leaves. Have a great day everyone!!

Did you do that on the grill??? :hungry::hungry: It looks amazing!! Please tell me how you did it.

Yes, I cook on a ceramic kamado grill. This turkey was cooked over indirect heat at 300 degrees to an internal temperature of 160 degrees. The indirect setup lets you cook just about anything on the grill, and the lump charcoal gives you a wonderful flavor vs. gas grilling. Using a wireless thermometer, I can monitor the internal temperature of whatever I am cooking and take it off the grill before it overlooks or dries out. Sometimes I am asked how long did you cook that? My standard answer is I don't cook by time, but instead cook to desired doneness by temperature.
