Well, I don't know. Did you see the photos? She would frown upon the grilled chicken.

Happy anniversary!! 36 years,...way to go! So many couples these days call it quits way before that!Got my walk in this afternoon since we will be out celebrating our 36th w anniversary tonight. Where did 36 years go?? Seems like just yesterday You are right @epcotisbest, today feels like summer again, not fallish at all. We are very dry and dusty too. No rain here for 3 weeks now.
So this evening I made a simple salad for supper. Chopped up some veggies and the leftover grilled chicken and it made for a very satisfying meal.

Beautiful and yes you even get extra bonus points for presentation!Do I get any credit for the salad I had tonight?
^^^^^ we have a winner 50% of a dinner plate should be veggies! More is even better but 50% is the goal for the healthiest meals.Yah, but Rome wasn't built in a day either. Fifty percent of your dinner was salad, so that should get her psyched!
Happy anniversary to you and your dh!Happy anniversary!! 36 years,...way to go! So many couples these days call it quits way before that!
My hubby and I have been married for 15 years tomorrow. We celebrated a couple of weeks ago, though, because my FIL had surgery Thursday and we needed a babysitter so we could go out and he will be kind of out of commission for a month or two. Celebrating a couple of weeks early is a small price to pay for free babysitting. Plus, I think he and my MIL were glad for a chance to spend some time with the grandchildren finally since we were gone the entire summer vacation. I would guess with 36 years of marriage, you probably don't have to worry about a babysitter. So what are you doing to celebrate?
Thanks! It turns out that it's a good thing we celebrated early. Tomorrow there's an open lesson for a Musical Theater course that I want to try out, so I'm heading to that since we already celebrated.Happy anniversary to you and your dh!
Thank you!! We did!!Happy anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!!Happy anniversary wishes to both @epcotisbest and @93boomer . (Back at the end of April, it was 22 years for hubby and me.)

Did you do that on the grill??? It looks amazing!! Please tell me how you did it.Grilled some turkey breast last night. It turned out moist and tender. Enough for supper last night and sandwiches for a couple of days.

Well you are a wonderful outdoor cook!! That turkey looks perfect!! Ok what time's dinner? Be right down. LolYes, I cook on a ceramic kamado grill. This turkey was cooked over indirect heat at 300 degrees to an internal temperature of 160 degrees. The indirect setup lets you cook just about anything on the grill, and the lump charcoal gives you a wonderful flavor vs. gas grilling. Using a wireless thermometer, I can monitor the internal temperature of whatever I am cooking and take it off the grill before it overlooks or dries out. Sometimes I am asked how long did you cook that? My standard answer is I don't cook by time, but instead cook to desired doneness by temperature.
