working out for Disney

Does anyone else have people who try to sell products on FB? I got invited to a "online party" to buy clothes. WTH? It's like an MLM thing. I looked into it and the company sends the consultant what they want to send. The consultant doesn't order her own inventory. Then she shows what she's selling and you have to wait until you see something you like and when you do, hope it's in your size. The first person who types in SOLD gets the item. It's all online, so I don't even get wine and nibbles out of it. :p I'm not trying to be mean, but I don't care for the style of the clothes, either.

I am just seeing more of this on FB and it's annoying.
I have a lot of friends who do that...on friend sells Thirty-one, someone else just sent me an invitation to like their new consultant page for jamberry nails. And another friend used to do thirty one and also some zirconia jewelry thing. Drives me nuts, but I don't think I'd do the style you mentioned...no fun.

Yeah, I just don't get the whole facebook thing. Had a friend recently tell me they could not do without it. He wanted to know how I managed. Simple, managed for 55 years without it, a few more is not gonna make any difference.
Ha! It's not for everyone, but it IS the best way for me to keep in touch with my brother, and to share pics of my kids with him and with other family friends. Now that I'm overseas, FB is really handy. I held out for a really long time while everyone else was talking about it, but now it's very handy. It is also great if I haven't heard from my dad in a while and I worry..short message on fb to ask if anyone has seen or talked to him, and someone will get back to me that they got ahold of him. He doesn't have a computer, or email, or anything and he never turns his cell phone on unless he's making a call himself, then he turns it back off. So "the book of face" is great for spreading the word and tracking him down.

I've had no workout for 3 days...spent 2 days in airports, airplanes, and a car, then today I spent the day in lawers', bankers', stock brokers' offices with my dad. I THINK we might be getting him convinced that simple is better when it comes to the will.
I won't be on much for a few weeks. This is the first opportunity I've had to get online in 4 days. I'm taking notes for a TR later, though.

Only a tiny view of the river from the balcony if you look way to the right, but this location is great. Just a short walk from here to Paula Deen's The Lady and Sons, Leopold's Ice Cream, Goose Feathers Cafe and then of course all the stuff at the riverwalk. Yes, I will be consuming way too many calories the next few days.

Good morning 5 fast LS miles and 6 outside, I'm glad I got it done before the rain. No plank today or maybe even tomorrow! I'd rather do sun salutations, they seem to do almost as much good and I'm not bored to tears!!!!!!!!

Hello-
I have been working out every day since Sunday. I've been doing my download and alternating that with some sort of cardio. One day was a nice long (but hot 'n' sweaty) walk and yesterday was a Body Combat/kick box workout. The download I have been doing only uses 2 lb. weights. Holy cats. It burns so much.

My son and I are flying to Philly tomorrow. We have a loose plan of sight-seeing. I have packed my lightest hand weights and my magic circle. I have some downloads on my iPad. I was going to bring my yoga mat, but I think I will just use a towel in the hotel room. I'm obsessed with traveling light. We will have a full kitchen and there is a small gym. I have downloaded an app that guides you through treadmill workouts with music mixed by some DJ. I'll give it a whirl next week. I am determined to stay active this time around! :geek:

I keep asking my son to bring me his clothes to pack. He has brought me one pair of underwear and four t-shirts. I am giving him until 10. If he gives me nothing, I will take him shopping when we get there and it will come out of his chore allowance. So ridiculous. I started telling him on Monday.

I think sun sals are better than planks, in terms of muscles involved. For abs, I will do planks over crunches everyday, but I could never hold a plank for 2-3 minutes and beyond. I also feel invigorated after doing a series of sun sals. Hmm... I should start doing some when I get out of bed in the mornings.

Good morning 5 advanced miles and a few sun salutations. I know what I'm doing is getting redundant but I'm doing my best to try and avoid injury and not risk bulking. Now I'm worried I won't have much time if any to work out on vacation but I'm packing a few DVDs, 5 pound wights, stretch band and belt with bands and my mat. I know I'll squeeze in a decent workout at least every third day after our first 3 park days(they're killer commando days)

No time to work out on vacation? Um . . . do you have any idea how many MILES you'll be walking on vacation??!!! :jawdrop: Most people come back from WDW a few pounds lighter.

ROFLOL, I go to Disney to walk less:confused:. Last trip I came back +1

I'll bet it was water retention and eating restaurant food. I always get puffy at WDW no matter what I eat/don't eat. I think when you eat a lot of home cooked meals, made from scratch, it's jarring to dine out because it's loaded with sodium. I always come back 5 lbs heavier, but it's gone within 2-3 days of being home. That's definitely water. :)
