Remember, I am a country boy from up in the mountains. Barbers do cost more. I just go by when the road crew is trimming the right of way and have a guy take a weed whacker to it.
Yum!! We did meatloaf and veggies (green beans and corn on the cob) the other night. I'm sad...I'm craving Brussels Sprouts, but they are out of season, so the stores don't have them. I need a spring/summer vegetable!!Such a lovely day I decided to cook on the grill this evening. Meatloaf and veggies:

Yeah, I look forward to our little, local farmer's market opening where the old timers bring their bounty to sell, and at great prices too. And last year the first of the home grown tomatoes were ripe on July 2. My favorite, home grown tomatoes. Just nothing else compares, at least to me. I love them. One of my favorites is just a plain ole white bread sandwich with lots of mayo, sliced tomatoes, salt and pepper. Or even better a sausage biscuit with tomatoes, mayo, salt and pepper.Yum!! I wish I liked tomatoes and cucumber. Both of those seem to be in abundance in the spring and summer, and most people love them...I don't like either. And I don't like condiments, so at least I don't have to worry about cutting those out!Yeah, I look forward to our little, local farmer's market opening where the old timers bring their bounty to sell, and at great prices too. Since I have cut way, way back on bread, I suppose I won't be having either of those very often, but you can bet I will ever now and then as a treat.
Way to go! Yes, she gets to be a bit much sometimes but much better than Chalean. BTW for that one you can use small dumbells but don't go over 3 pounds start with one or 2 pounds much cheaper than wrist weights. I think I paid about 2.50 each for 3 pound ones.Howdy. I did LS 3 mile body fat burn walk. I really liked it, but I have to be careful with the leg lifts. Her laugh was driving me BATTY....then I figured out she sounds like Delores Umbridge!!
I wish I had some wrist/ankle weights and a yoga mat. I guess I will have to ask for them for mother's day.
Yeah, and I like that the moves are so simple. With the Turbo Jam, there was a huge learning curve. It took a while to learn some of the moves and if I hadn't done a particular workout in a while, I had to relearn how to do the hard ones. But this workout pretty much used simplified versions of the moves I've done in TJ, like the leg lifts and the side step with the little twist. So it was really easy to follow. I'm looking for cheapy weights. It's not something that's available everywhere here.Way to go! Yes, she gets to be a bit much sometimes but much better than Chalean. There very easy to find here in the states. If you have no luck before you get here something else you'll be able to get.Yeah, and I like that the moves are so simple. Sounds good. I'm by myself tonight because hubby had to pick the kids up from his parents' house after work and they just ate there, so I decided to do a shortcut tonight and pan fried my chicken instead of baking it because otherwise it takes so long. YUCK. I'm not used to the taste of pan fried chicken breast anymore and it just tasted so greasy and gross. At least my butternut squash was fantastic.Today's lunch left over guilt free spicy soup. It's good for the lazy in me also LOL Water saute 3 good sized onions thinly sliced and a few cloves of crushed garlic add in 2 bags sliced peppers, then a couple of cans of diced tomatoes, red pepper, black pepper, cumin, basil and oregano to taste. I'm not very hungry but need something in my system At least I'm not feeling cold now!
Congrats om your new additions. I love going to the outlets and walking around even if we don't buy anything it makes for some fun time. Who am I kidding I always seem to find something in the Disney onesThese have arrived! Always exciting when these get here. In a few short weeks, SSR here we come. Eight days, no real plans other than pool time, reading and bicycle riding. Might go to the Flower and Garden Festival. Might not. Might go to SeaWorld. Might not. Might relax a lot. No, will relax a lot. Might go outlet shopping. Oh, who am I kidding? My wife will make sure we go outlet shopping.
Also plan to visit some of the new stuff opening at DS since we can just walk over there any evening. We tend to always go to DS at least once, but usually multiple times per trip.

I'm getting weights for mother's day. I ordered them yesterday (hubby told me to) and they came today. Along with a yoga mat. The weights are 1kg each.@Songbird76 if you don't have weight you can always use cans of food
I did a 10 minute Pilates warm-up today and then did the fat burning 3 mile walk...same one I did yesterday. Eventually I want to add on...I'm new to Pilates and the warm up is really easy. But eventually, I want to be able to do the walk and then a 10 minute ab workout after that, alternating on days...one day the abs, one day a 30 min Pilates workout, which is why I got the yoga mat. Then once I can do all that, I'd like to try some other things so I don't get bored doing the same things over and over, and I'm told that helps with plateaus, too...that if you constantly change it up, your body doesn't have time to get used to any one thing, which is why you plateau. Thoughts, advice, tips?
