JM wasn't kidding about killer buns and thighs. I still have a bit of a burn today! 5 indoor miles done and 2 outside. I wish it would warm up so I could go for a really long walk, just to get outside! BTW DR. Oz has a really great 4 minute workout on his websight. I did it yesterday and being the nut I am I added some weights to make it harder.o_O

Hello back...with encouragement and motivation on this forum, I'm still losing weight and exercising. Hope all is well with you and your DH. I am finally posting pics from our Dec. HHI trip. Check it out if you get a chance.

We leave in December (Thanksgiving Day to be exact) for a few days at WDW then the Disney Cruise and a week at WDW. We've both joined Planet Fitness and are looking forward to a healthier lifestyle and feeling good again. Not too mention I would like to run a marathon again. I hate to admit how much weight I've put on but here is to better things.

So I mentioned before that I don't like to weigh very often because I see tiny or no changes as depressing. Well I weighed this morning with our bathroom scales that that seem pretty close to what the scales at the DRs office report. Have not weighed since my last good news at DR office.
No change in two weeks. A bit discouraging. Yes, I know the optimist view is, hey no weight gain, but the pessimist I am is beating myself up right now for no weight loss. Two weeks of effort with zero results. Give me patience and I want it now.

Slow and steady...... With all the moving you've been doing lately maybe you added some muscle and muscle weighs more than fat! The real question is how are you feeling and how are your pants fitting? Keep up the good work. Some weeks the scale just likes you better than on other weeks.

I survived the weekend. My stove and blender really started gasping this Friday so it's time to put them out of their misery! They've both been hanging on for a while but I was waiting for a sale. Sears ran a wonderful sale over the weekend so I'm getting an upgrade on the stove! Seeing how much cooking I do this is a good thing. Had to put the stove on lay away, I'm moving money around today and will pay it off and then run over to get a new blender. The new one will be the ninja kitchen system with the juicing cups. I really wanted a Vitamix but with getting an upgraded stove doing both would have been a bit too much. At least tomorrow my smoothies will be really smooth! So for today veggie soup for breakfast (no blender) lunch will be a salad and dinner will be leftover chili as I'll have no time to cook by the time my errands are done. I hate the time change losing a hour of sleep with so much to do is the worst. But I did get up and do No More Trouble Zones and seeing it's just above freezing I went out and walked all the way around my lake. Stay warm and safe!

Good morning! I'm finally getting used to the time change. Nothing like some kickboxing and ab work to start the day off right! It was above freezing so when the boys left I went out for the first walk all the way around my lake. The new blender is EXCELLENT my morning smoothie was nice and smooth and no little bits left to get stuck in my teeth. I should have made the upgrade ages ago! Kale, spinich, carrot and berries for breakfast. As it's going to be warm today I'll also be drinking my lunch, arugala, cucumber, pineapple, lime, and some almonds. Dinner is going to be a salad and falafel. The sun is shining so keep dancing!

10 days to go until Disney! And there is so much packed into them, it is a challenge finding time to fit in some exercise. But, I'm managing it! Getting ready for my "mall walk" in a few. Yesterday was beautiful here. First time in the 50's for...well, too long to be honest. Today we are in the 40's, and white stuff is on the way. Ugh. Ready to find my palm tree!

@figmentfan423 Congrats on the new stove and blender!

Well, it's been tough getting to the gym. I was planning to head there tonight but the weather had other plans for me, not to mention my car is in the shop. I'm also very busy with work this week. Hopefully, I get out of work on time and can hit the gym before my meeting. Though I suppose snow shoveling would be a lot of exercise too.

Hope you have a great trip. Mid 70s here yesterday and today, but windy with a freeze warning tonight. The morning walk Thursday and Friday will feel quite chilly after this warm spell.

Snow shoveling definitely counts as exercise. Keep up the positive attitude, as that really makes a difference. My wife knows I am a very negative person, but there is a lot of positive encouragement on here.

Good morning! LOL I went out to do a quick mile and the wind put me on my bottom. Oh well at least I got 5 indoor miles done. My brain is going to need some meditation and some yoga later. I'm really loving my new blender, it works great!!!!! I find myself putting in veggies I would have never thought of putting in a smoothie before. Beets actually work quite nicely. Thinking about beets @mrdisman hasn't checked in with his walking lately. With the stove on it's way out it's lucky I have some veggie burgers leftover for dinner. One more week, I think it'll make it but just by a bit! Stay warm and Disney dreaming!

Have been there many times with the no change scenario.Stick with it sir.It isn't just the scales you are making a difference to.Am sure you will soon find them moving again.
