Good Morning Everyone!
@epcotisbest your dog is a cutie pie!
I practiced my usual this chilly morning and enjoyed a veggie stir fry for breakfast. Lunch is liquid, acocado, kale, and pineapple with a splash of coconut water. Dinner is a salad with the works, lots of veggies and beans. I am going to give @Tiggerish 's vinaigrette a whirl, I have everything in the house.
I have a speaking engagement this afternoon and will be teaching tonight.
Namaste my friends!

A most magical morning to all of you. It's going to be a VERY BUSY day for me as it's my dh Jim's birthday. Lots of cooking and I still have to wrap his gifts. Not really sure what he's getting besides jeans one size smaller. I bought a few things for him while at Disney now I just have to decide what I'm going to wrap later. Here's his splurge menu for today. Breakfast will be homemade oatmeal with peaches, blueberries, flax and sunflower seeds and raisins. Lunch will be a black bean veggie burger with all the fixings packed separately and I'll be spending a while making dinner. Roast pork, mashed potatoes, sautéed leeks with sundried tomatoes, asparagus, roasted root melody (sweet potatoes, parsnips, carrots, beets and onions) stuffed butternut squash and of course a nice large salad. We'll finish the night with chocolate cake (I may add a peanutbutter twist to it ( I may not make it gluten free so that means I'll have to skip it, but they like the regular ones better ok not so regular as no refined sugar or animal products)). The only item on the menu today that's not vegan is the roast pork and gravy. At least I won't have to cook tomorrow as it will be warm enough to get and walk then. Yea for a little planning and lots of luck. I did 5 indoor miles and will get in some meditation time later, maybe with some luck and pixie dust I'll even be able to squeeze in a nice practice later. Keep warm, stay happy and keep moving forward.

Happy birthday to your DH. We don't really do anything special for birthdays any more, seeing as how they seem to come so frequently now a days. Maybe go out to eat and exchange cards...and sometimes just a home made card.
Sounds like wonderful meals you have planned three Figgy.
Thank you, trying to keep it healthy and fun. The kids really want to go all out as they are still in the I like to be older stageo_O

Have a big crockpot full of chili started on the counter right now...ground beef and pork sausage crumbled, browned and drained before adding to the pot, Caroll Shelby chili spices, canned tomatoes from our neighbors garden, tiger sauce and tomato sauce mixed in and will simmer all day on low. Then this evening the diced onion, bell pepper, mild jalapeño, diced celery and kidney beans will be added so they don't get too soggy cooking all day in the crockpot. Serve with corn bread cooked in the iron skillet, made with cornmeal ground Sunday afternoon as we watched them bag it at the mill. Not a very low calorie meal coming so I have to practice moderation. But oh so good chili when the temperature drops. Oh, to cut back, I'll top the bowl of chili with much less grated cheese and sour cream and completely skip the burger and chicken wings I would have used to have with it. Sounds like I am making excuses, but it is more like making changes I suppose.

Good morning all!! It is chilly here again but sunny! At least the wind hasn't started today. We seem to have wind every day.
Eating light until liquid diet Thursday so going to be hard to read all this food you guys are having! LOL Breakfast is nonfat Greek yogurt with sliced banana and agave syrup. Lunch is turkey on white bread with sliced canned peaches and tea. Dinner is grilled tilapia, white rice (rather have brn rice:( and sautéed mushrooms. Snack a frozen banana pop.
Today's exercise is light stretching and walking. Plus going up and down stairs to do laundry!
Well wishes to @MR FERRET and friend!! We miss you!
Everyone stay warm, healthy, and move it!!:D

Yea for making healthy changes. It's hard going from the Adam Richman diet to one that's mostly healthy! Good for you! Every little bit helps!

Got home a little while ago and it is already almost dark. One of the fun things about crock pot cooking is the smell when you walk in the door. Yuuuummmm. Will ad the rest of the ingredients and some masa to thicken things up and have dinner ready when my sweetie gets home. She likes it when I do dinner or breakfast, but sometimes the results are not worth the mess I make!
