Good morning! I'm taking it "easy" until I head out for my usual busy Friday! Cleansing green smoothie with garlic and ginger for breakfast, packing a salad with beans for lunch and dinner will be left overs as it's clean out the fridge day. Have a magical weekend and keep moving forward.

Good morning, I hope your weekend is off to a good start. I had a really good laugh this am as @MR FERRET probably has more dance ability than I do and I tried a dance your abs away DVD, it was similar to Zumba. Fun but I felt like I had 6 feet. Another busy day up here. I have to go shopping as my boys have eaten me out of my house. Then later James is going to a Halloween party to raise money and food for the local food pantry. Maybe just maybe I'll get to meet his new gf. Going to eat very green today. Cleansing smoothie in a bit after my green tea, salad with green goddess dressing and steamed veggies and tofu with pesto. I hope you get to go out and enjoy your weekend.

Good morning! It's a chilly start to a new week up here on my mountain. The last of the peppers were picked yesterday. And it looks like I'll have to pull in what's left in my garden later today as it looks like we might get out first frost tonight. Very sad for my garden, but very good for my allergies. I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend and were able to move it, move it. To warm up today I did some crazy hyper intervals to get the blood flowing. Then I put on my X Box and did some kickboxing. Who says video games are for couch potatoes. I'm going to use my winter coat for the first time this year when I head out for a walk after the boys leave. @real mad hatter is going to get it when he gets back!!! Sunny and in the 80s he deserves to either be boiled in oil or have the best time ever. Not too sure which way I'm leaning with the temperature down around freezing. Going with a veggie tofu scramble for breakfast, a salad with a Dijon vinagarette and for dinner my rendition of the TC veggie platter. Just remember today is a new beginning so make the most of this new week. xoxo

Morning all!! Trying to get back in routine again! It was so good to get away and recharge!!
The morning temps are a wake up though for us. It is 41 now and we had a frost advisory last night. We did have a little frost when we got up yesterday morn though! Really going to miss those 90s! I love Fall but this is too cold for me. I like lows in the 50s!
Started normal food yesterday. Grilled some veggies and brown rice. Shredded wheat this morning with unsweetened almond milk and dried cherries. Lunch is turkey sand with hummus and carrots. Gotta write out a grocery list for rest of week.
Good to be back! Missed you guys! Move it!

Welcome back @93boomer , glad you made it home safely. We had company visit last night from out of town and are taking them out tonight. Trying to decide where to go, but want something local, kinda mom and pop vs chain place where they can eat at home. I'll try to eat better no matter where we go, but if we go somewhere that has homestyle, crispy, crunchy fried chicken, all bets are off.
Got some honey crisp and Granny Smith apples this weekend. The honey crisp are great just snacking on. I like to cut them in wedges and dip in crunchy peanut butter....yummm. The Granny Smith are for baking, and while I have to avoid the apple dumplings made with Mountain Dew (wow, no telling how much sugar are in those babies) I do usually try at least one bite. Truth be told, topped with some vanilla bean ice cream, I could eat a whole plate of my wife's fresh, hot, steamy apple dumplings. She makes a good pie too, especially the apple pie drizzled in caramel.
OK, I gotta go eat some veggies or something.
Gotta get active like @LuLaSue and @figmentfan423 , y'all inspire me. @MR FERRET you two are looking good in those Cars pics!

Bonjour! What a glorious morning. 5 miles done and it's over 45 degrees. The rain might be coming in and I might not get out much, but at least I'm not paying to heat my house today. LOL Those @real mad hatter lessons are really paying off. Now for a rant about vanity sizing, yes I'm happy to fit into clothes with a small number, but when they start to vanity size children's clothes things have gone too far. Yesterday as a joke I tried on sweatpants from the kids department and they fit:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: ok so I've lost almost every pound I wanted to but that's just crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I bought them as they were 1/2 the price . What the heck is going into the food kids eat????? Rant over! Today is a busy day in the kitchen, making soda bread (I'm out of the boy's bread crumbs), sugar-free apple berry crumb, my dh's oatmeal, salmon cakes for the boys and black bean chipotle burgers. Sipping my green tea and deciding what veggies to put in my tofu scramble and what to put in my salad for lunch. I'm hoping you eat healthy and keep moving forward today.

Hahaha I know what you mean! I are like a little piggy at the world and figured that I had gained a couple. Not a pound but lost 1 1/2!! All that walking!!
I have had to be wearing the kids sizes for awhile now or if I can find xs in clothes. It is strange isn't it??!!
And just from moving it and eating healthy!! Wish I had done this in college!
Got laundry and some cleaning to do today. Stretching and walking today. I do my weight training 3x a week now. All is well with the ole shoulder.
Lunch is soon so eating a turkey salad with lots of veggies. Dinner is grilled chicken and asparagus.
Keep moving it and eating well my dear friends!! Adios!!
