Just thought i'd post the news that Woody's Cowboy Camp will have its last show on September 27th, right along with Pocahontas.

This was part of "The Year of a Million Dreams" promotion. It only makes sense for it to come to an end as "The Year of a Million Dreams" comes to a close.

Too bad. My hubby and son had a great time participating in one last year. At least we get to see it this summer!! It also included Bullseye, which I have never seen anywhere else.

Nothing is taking its place.
However, the long-running Frontierland Hoedown (Frontierland's other interactive atmosphere show, the one that has the Country Bears and the Brers in it) will continue to be presented almost every afternoon.
Keep in mind, folks, that some of these recently-added entertainment offerings (Woody's Cowboy Camp, the already-discontinued Let's Have a Ball, etc.) were created only for the Year of a Million Dreams and weren't intended to continue after the celebration's conclusion. If they had gone ahead with the original 2007 ending for the YoaMD, those programs would've ended their runs simultaneously with the celebration itself.

From what I've heard, Dream Along and Camp Minnie-Mickey are next.... I didn't believe it when I heard it, but the source also mentioned Woody's Cowboy Camp and Family Fun Day as getting axed.... and I come home to find both of those confirmed on the boards! Granted, she also said that CMM were going in order to make room for Beastly Kingdom.... At the time I just laughed to myself about how there would be a bit of a size issue... but then I come to find about Poca closing.... worries me about FOLK's future?
(I apologize if DAWM and CMM were already mentioned- I haven't been on the boards in about a month)

I don't see Dream Along going anytime soon. Someone told me that the show was extended.
