The official first public performance of Wondrous Journeys begins in just a few minutes.
Here's for Castle front row viewing

Rivers of America viewing

Main street viewing

That RoA viewing is a fun watch! Poor audio but got the gist of the show there. They really thought through how best to leverage the infrastructure there and make it more dynamic than "water screen for 15 minutes" like previous shows have been; I think they could've gone a bit further, but hats off for making do with what's there.

Can't wait to see the Small World mall view.

Glad that they didn't covered up Disney100 medallion in the Castle during Wondrous Journeys, unlike during Disneyland Forever's first run, when 60th decoration were covered up during the show's projections.

I had a bad slip on some black ice on Monday. I'm getting around at the moment with a combination of crutches and a knee scooter at the moment. My ankle is messed up, quite badly, and I'm going to have to have surgery next week and then have to be off my feet for several weeks. Going to have to take a fair amount of time off of work also. It's not great, but it is what it is and it should eventually heal up.
YIKES. Very sorry to hear that, but happy to hear you’re on the road to getting better. Take care of yourself and get plenty of rest.

Just learned that the "Some things start out big..." quote is from Dinosaur (which I never watched, unfortunately). The more you know!

Unrelated, anyone catch where the Wish cameo is? I couldn't find it in the finale push where they caught all the other movies in quick succession.

Agree wholeheartedly with this review. I think what makes this so much more successful than something like Enchantment is it uses original arrangements to have each movie be in dialogue with each other. Can't say enough good things about the medley:

Quasimodo: I'll be there someday... / Belle: There must be more... / Hercules: I will find my way... / Moana: I long to be... / ALL: Out there!

Plus "Almost There" with the visuals from the Lion King made me unexpectedly emotional, knowing how central father figures are to both.

ETA: And the Encanto doors at the end but for all the different movies! Family!

All four songs are in different keys.

I can guarantee you're not hearing them 'as is' from the movies. :)

Wish could be anywhere. I believe all the movies are scattered in different places and can probably only be seen when standing in certain spots. Some of the Main Street projections I saw were not on the castle. Then again, I haven’t seen it in person, so maybe they were on the castle and I just couldn’t tell from the video.

Sorry, realized it could be interpreted both ways! I meant "original arrangements" as in "unique to this show" haha. Well aware the singers for Herc and Belle likely didn't sustain those notes during the session recordings in anticipation of Auli'i joining them in harmony. 😂

They weren’t kidding when they says EVERYY animated film would be referenced. Is dinosaur here? 😂
UPDATE: did found dinosaur around the end. that makes two dinosaur references with this and the quote at the beginning 😆

my guess is this flying thing is from it, don't recall seeing it in any movie

Watching the Small World version I was able to spot Ratagin's blimp and Sir Hiss during the flying scene.

There's two clips from Rescuers Down Under

Saw Arthur and Taran during the montage at the end

Haven't spotted some stuff like Fox and the Hound or Oliver and Company yet. If the show doesn't literally have 60+ movies referenced, it certainly tries.
