Has anyone got around to taking a photo of WoL??? Just curious...

I noticed on disney's official site that Oct 2007-February 2008 NOTHING is listed as being closed during those months. Which means the WoL attractions are not on there. Even SSE isn't on the list. I know that they will be using WoL for the Food & Wine Festival so maybe that is why they are not on there, but I would doubt the attractions would be opened while the festival is going on. I know it's just probably a problem with disney's website but I just thought I would share it with everyone.

Anyone have any info about WoL???

Thanks in advance! :)

I noticed this, too. Usually, the operational updates section of their calendar gets a little funny when the month changes. They update the calendar at the end of each month in order to add the park hours for the month that is six months away (in this case February 2008). (This is probably why the RnRC refurb just showed up, too.) So it could be that things got messed up in the process of updating.

In any case, if what we've been hearing about WoL is true, Disney should just remove Body Wars, Cranium Command and The Making of Me from their website altogether.

I wonder how long until the entire double helix DNA strand out in front of WoL is posted on KingdomSurplus?

Unlike the stupid Wand pieces, this is a piece of EPCOT I'd love to have. Actually, just give me the Buzzy AA, a couple of Cranium Command posters, and I'm good...

That DNA strand would be a neat structure for any medical center or university to own. It was always something that geeked my wife out whenever she saw it (she's an exercise physiologist)

I most certainly have (yet my laptop was broken until today so you all had to wait!)

On Monday I had a strange idea to go and take a pic of Wonders... I haven't been to the Wonders/Enegry area in months and I still don't know what strange force sent me over... First pic I took was this...

Not sure how it looks today, but that should give you a pretty good idea as to whats happening.

Guess that pretty much confirms it. Ah well, another chapter of EPCOT Center comes to an end. It's about time something was done with the pavilion, I just wish it was a new attraction or an entire refurb.

Goodbye, Wonders of Life. Its too bad that Disney has given up on this theme. Life and Health is such a relevant and important topic in today's America.

I wonder what they'll call the pavilion once its turned into event space.

Aww, how sad. Seeing things being demolished and taken down at Disney in plain view of everyone always makes me feel bad..especially since I never went inside the pavillion. :(

Why are they doing this again?

Lost sponsership? Too costly to give it a face lift?

I wonder the same thing..

It is definitely time to go...I visited the pavillion in December, and it was eerie how bare and vacant it was. On a day when the park was slammed..Cranium Command sat only 40 people or so.

 ...Thanks for the photos...I am sad that it is going away since I have not been in there in years and wanted one last time to visit it, but I am all for it getting some rehab/new attraction since EPCOT is all about the future it does need updated. I did like the idea of a health pavillion but oh well...I hope once the Food & Wine Festival is over they will begin to work on it and try to get a sponsor and not leave it vacant for special events forever.

If anyone can take more pictures of the progress I would appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

is it me, or have the also trimmed back the plants... making the pavilion more noticable.. even though they could have done that when they last reopened it and before giving it to events...

oh well...

maybe the DNA can be doated to a hospital as a sculpture?
