Interesting...so if what you're saying is true (no offense, but this is the internet :D )....I wonder if they will be using the screens of the theaters as part of the set for that particular section of the ride....and if one theater remains...will it be used for a new pre-show....or will they move Turtle Talk in there?

The big question is....about the queue....has it changed?

Thanks for the 411!

Interesting. I would love to see Turtle Talk move to a bigger theatre. That show impressed the heck out of me. It really deserves to become a "major" attraction.

I don't think Turtle Talk can work in a bigger theater - it wouldnt have the audience interaction. Having more than 1 theater at a time though.. hmm...

This is all very exciting news. I still hope TLS maintains its educational overtones. But these changes are as well done as the changes to "The Land" earlier this year then TLS will be great once again.

Hey guys. I hope everyone is sitting down for this great news. If you dont know im in security at Disney. Tonight I had the pleasure of working at Epcot and I got to go in the Living Seas. OMG the place is a mess as they are doing something to the floor in the seabase. Also BOTH of the Hydrolaters (entry and exit) are gone. And Finally two last things. 1. Both theatres are being taken out, all the chairs have been ripped out and (prepare yourself) 2. Its true they are bringing the ride back. there are new pieces of tracks inside where the theatres are and the seacab area is opened. I almost cried with joy when I saw it. I cant wait till its finished. Hope you enjoyed my update.

What ride are you referring to, I don't remember it. Any pictures or anything floating around?

interesting to say the least (about the seacab track going into the "old" theaters) havent seen Turtle Talk but bigger theater does mean more capacity, but does that mean less possible personal interactivness with the crush?

and im going to miss the hydrolators...... they were my favorite themed part. i wonder if they will have a possible hidden tribute..... but the again, it would probably be some bubbles hidden.

HA!!!! I TOLD whoever that was that the ride was coming back, and all he wanted to do was argue, argue, and then argue some more for good measure.
I completely forget who it was, but I owe someone on these boards a nice, big, juicy "I TOLD YOU SO"!!!!

Mwahahahaha! I'm so evil - now all I need is a hat.

I think it can work in a bigger theater....I mean....they would have to setup the new theater differently (as in not the same way it was setup for the preshow)....and they could make the show longer, and have a bigger section for the kids (since more people fit during each showing)....etc...just some thoughts...

:D

Two theaters...that sounds interesting...maybe with a different character.....

well, obvious statement coming, prepare yourself, but i think that if Crush was in one theater...... Dori could be in the other......... or would that be to much Ellen in Epcot.

then there is the real obvious, Nemo.......... Clown Fish talk with Nemo, nope doesnt sound good.

Oh N0ES!!!111!!! no more hydrolators? I'll miss the decent into seabase alpha.

Getting the seacabs back sounds good now but wait till we get more info and find out that we are going to be traveling under the sea to "Find Nemo."

I was so let down last time I visited TLS. I guess that by adding the Nemo stuff they hope to get kinds interested in the pavillion. Do kids not find the ocean amazing all by its self anymore?

How about the Sting Ray?

1. I really won't miss the Hydrolaters at all. They tended to be a crowd bottleneck and I'll be honest, I didn't think it was a particularly magical effect.

2. The movies were OK.

3. I think its fabulous that they are resurrecting and adding to the ride portion. With the loss of World of Motion and Horizons, I truly celebrate a renewed committment to an Omnimover family ride in Epcot.

I think they're trying to make TLS look more like The Land....easy way in and out...all sorts of things to do....etc....If they spend the $$ on it...and don't hold back then we should have nothing to worry about...I'm betting the new TLS will look amazing....

As a kid, it use to be my favorite pavilion...behind Horizons....:D

yeh, that would be refreshing to get away from the "norm" in all the Nemo characters.

oh, what if they did a duet with Bruce and Co. that would be fun. they could interact between eachother and then with the crowd. like i said previously, i havent seen Turtle Talk yet, so if they already do this..... forgive.

At this point any changes or improvements will be welcome!!

I will echo the thoughts of a previous poster...

Sea Cabs return-Hurray!!
Hydrolators demise-Hurumph!!
