No. None of this.
That's part of owning a business especially something such like a theme park. I'm sure a lot happened before the video and the story is heavily one sided. But think of the other people around... they are trying to enjoy the fireworks (I cant remember is this a paid spot as well), and your kid has to listen to some hoodrat dropping f bombs. How about if a fight had started and someone gets trampled or accidently punched... I'm sorry if my 80 year old grandma in a wheelchair gets trampled and injured or Katie bugs little daughter now you have a bigger fight, even in Disney it doesn't take long for a small argument to turn into a big fight. Instead a cast member should have been near by to quickly calm everyone down which as former security takes about 5 seconds to calm down a situation. If it doesn't quickly calm down then you get on your walkie and get support. Several situations that have happened (not talking about ali gator) could have been prevented just by having more staff.

What I can gather is the old guy was sat there waiting and then these roll up and stand in his way, he asks them to move, they ignore him so he gets up and nudges her out the way asking them to move and then little man syndrome starts kicking off. They were in the wrong, not the old guy. He wasn’t asked to move as he did nothing wrong, they should have been removed for swearing and aggression. Entitled woman trying to get her own way as we’ve seen hundreds of times before.

My family has already decided to skip the mosh pit. We are gonna spend the time riding and exploring the park at dark. Something tells me we are gonna have a blast.
We’ve watched the fireworks from Dumbo and BTMR.. loved both experiences!

You folks have the right idea! If you want to watch the fireworks/projections straight on with a perfect view, there are dozens of Youtube videos for that (thanks to the fact that everybody who sees these shows seems to labor under the delusion that they're the first one to think of recording it)! The fireworks provide the perfect opportunity to enjoy attractions with a gorgeous backdrop and next-to-no lines. During Happily Ever After this past Friday, we rode 7DMT 3 times in a row, with the music, lights and fireworks adding plenty of magic. :)

(Full confession: We do this with parades and other nighttime entertainment, too. My family would rather skip a parade or show, and enjoy a dip in wait times, than jostle for space in the heat with the Abners of the world trying to elbow their way in.)

We do too! With the exception of the late MVMCP parade.
