what happened?

Our school district had a 7.9 mill levy on the ballot in yesterday's primary. This was our fourth and final attempt. Had it failed the grade schools would have been leveled, with K-5 split up into two grades/building. My main concern as the mom of a special needs kid was how they would handle such an upheaval. Thankfully we don't have to worry now. And we can keep the special ed staff and surroundings they are used to - one of our teachers could have lost her job, because she was newer to the staff.
But it finally passed - by 500 votes. :sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:
