Wishing It Was Spring Already with Magic Friends

possibly because they have a lot of offspring and a very short life....

i remember putting one in a jar... and like 3 days later there were HUNDREDS and almost as many dead ones at the bottom of the jar...

But I do have a question, how do you get 100 flies from one? Spontaneous generation?

:D Do you know anything about Thomas Hunt Morgan? I am not sure if they are wanting to know about his study of flies or sea urchins.
My science fair project in 8th grade was titled "Ethyl Alcohol Tolerance of Drosophila" Yeah.. I didn't have many friends...

In my college Genetics class I worked again with fruit flies. I actually thought the mutations, etc. that one could notice was rather neat. Somehow, I still had a lot of friends in college...:lookaroun

Hello....DH and I had a busy day - found a Chrysler Town & Country minivan, went to lunch at Applebee's while they took care of the paperwork and were driving it off the lot by a quarter of two. :sohappy::sohappy:We got it about $3000 less than retail value so we're pleased.
And as an added perk there's a built in DVD system, so we don't have to haul our portable one to Florida. :sohappy:

That's great about the van Jenny! :sohappy: Yay for you guys!

So... about the cheerleader thread... I'm not liking it. If people voiced the same reactions to a post on when Gay Days are, that would certainly not fly. But people feel free to pick at cheerleaders with their stereotypes all they want...
