How did he recognize you from a phone conversation? :lookaroun

My voice, I guess.

...I hope. :lookaroun

He commented in Ottawa that I had a good voice for politics and started recalling this "one kid a few months ago that had some pretty good opinions" from our town. One realization led to another, and... well...

That is pretty cool!
If ever you decide to run for office, we need you down here.

I didn't know that existed. :lookaroun
I'm just tired of our two party system...I honestly don't see much difference between them, except who they pander to for votes. But I'll stop now. :zipit:

1. *BA-DUM* TSSH!

2. We have a lot of political parties up here. Our four main ones are the Liberals, Conservatives, NDP and Bloc Quebecois. The former two are pretty much the American Dem and Rep counterparts, the third party is almost played as a joke by my prized satire programs, and the Bloc is only voted for in Quebec. They still garner a fair number of votes, however. The Green Party is... well, environmental to say the least. Out of the 306 members of Parliament in the House of Commons ("Canadian Congress"), they have 2 representatives.

Tell us, Steph!

I sense a good story - can you share?
First day after Traditions at MK: upon walking in saw Goofy's head lying on the ground, which was a bit surreal. Then later when we walked outside, behind the cafeteria we saw Cinderella (clad in her wig, poofy-sleeve top, & cutoff shorts) smoking a cigarette w/ Peter Pan. I will never forget that day. :lookaroun

And yet, I still get so excited anytime I see the characters and truly know that they are "real". :D:rolleyes::lol:

Hmmm...well this is JMO, but what you really need to consider is living on one income vs. living on two incomes + paying for child care. Even if you work only part-time, are you working to get your family ahead or to pay the babysitter?
I'm not saying you working would be wrong - every couple needs to figure that out for yourselves. Just remember those first few years your child is home with you go all too fast. And it would have killed me if someone else had witnessed my kids' first rollover, or smile, or first step. That's me. And now with a special needs' child, me working outside the home isn't really an option right now. Perhaps if he continues to improve....
Jenny that was some good advise.:sohappy:

Oh man. You're right.

Poor Vince.

Can you imagine if he's ever Ariel's attendent. He'll cut the visit short of anyone who gets too friendly with his girl
:ROFLOL:
