It's funny... up here, whenever our mayoral or even county reps are hovering for election time, some of them will personally call our house. I asked my mom to vote for this guy that honestly carried on a half-hour conversation with me last year when no one else was home for him to court the vote with. And it was all relevant politics! He ended up winning, too. When I went to Ottawa in December 2006 the trip members got to talk with him, and he actually recognized me. :lol:
