Well, I haven't seen Hairspray in person, but from what I can tell from Nikki Blonsky in the movie, the role she played defintely requires at least SOME talent.
It will be interesting to see how she does in a totally different setting.

I swear sometimes wastebaskets have some sort of magnetic field around them.
My nephew spent a lot of time at my mom and dad's house when he was growing up. All through school he played basketball and was pretty good at it. But it was a running family joke that, when he aimed for the wastebasket in his grandparent's kitchen...from never more than a few feet away...he'd miss just about every time.

Dave went up to NH after school to go see a car she read about on line, and I guess she's going to get it. It's a 2003 Honda Civic - she has a Honda Accord right now, but it's getting to the age where she's putting money into it that she'll never see again, so it's time.
