So. Cal. huh? Sounds like a blast! If I could just get my husband's rear end on a plane....:hammer:Would you go in the fall again?
Yes, we're thinking about Sept. again.

It's something that we're both very excited about. It's very, very enticing. :D

Too bad your hubby won't fly. :(

I've looked into trains actually - Mike's always wanted to do that. However, he hasn't ruled out the possibility of flying back to Florida when we go back in 2011. I don't want want to force him though. By then, it may cost too much to go to the grocery store, much less out of state.

WHF and I went on a train from here to Chicago...I don't think I'd want to do that to Cali. It would be way too long of a trip and I didn't feel very safe on the train. I felt more secure in a plane then I did on the train. There was no checking of luggage and I don't recall much security in general. It just made me very leary.

That's interesting...I'll have to mention that to him. There are so many different places I want to visit in this country. Museums in NYC and DC, New England, going the other direction and following old route 66 out west, grand canyon...I could keep going. :o

Yeah...I thought it was quite scary actually. I'd much rather drive, if I weren't flying. (But of course, I think flying is the way to go.)

And there are lots of places I'd like to visit as well.

can I meet her?

:ROFLOL:

My dad went in for some follow-up tests again today. The blood work and some physical symptoms he has showed a sign of blood clots. I don't know much about all this medical stuff (even though I do work in the hospital), but I know that blood clots aren't usually a good sign when you're dealing with someone with a high risk of cancer. He just got back home and they called him in for more emergency tests (i.e. lung scan, more blood work, etc.). Please say a prayer.

Prayers coming.
