Hello!
I'm thinking about going to DCA today to see the new parade and Midway Mania stuff.
If I go, it'll be my fist time going alone... *gasp*

You should be ok...I think it'd be fun to go by yourself! I'd go all the way to FL by myself sometime. I think it would be fun.

Hi Nicole! You'll have to tell us what the Midway Mania is like - I really hope TSM is open by the time we go to WDW. :sohappy:

I'm so scared to go alone.
It would be fun, but I'm afraid of people I know seeing me alone...
But everyone is at Sadies tonight, so I should be good.

The ride isn't open quite yet, just the stuff around it, including Mr. Potatoe Head.

Hi, btw!

I understand - I mean, I'm completely excited to be going back to WDW only a month after our family vacation, but I'm nervous about being down there alone. Which is why I moved to staying completely on site the whole time. I'll feel safer on property.
I'm sure you'll be great - take what pics you can.

why? Just say you need a night to yourself and that's why you're by yourself. I've gone by myself to places sometimes.

I've actually wandered around once for about a half hour while my friend was holding our seats for something.
It's very relaxing!
I loved it...being able to walk around at your own pace and take everything in.

I hate going places by myself...even if it's to the grocery store.
I always need someone with me.
I don't like being alone...

Hey this is for anyone to answer - I was over on the Pic of the Day thread and loved the pics of the butterflies. Minnie has a butterfly garden? Where is it? Joel ADORES butterflies, we must find this place!

Steph, that does sound like a lot for airline tickets. I am with you, I hate spending money on stuff. I know what he means about the last trip you take but it still is hard to justify that much for a plane ride.
My fiance does not want to go to DIsney at all! Which is fine, he wants to relax and not be at a theme park. I agree with him although I would choose Disney over anything but its ok I will let him decide. He travels a ton so we are counting on those hotel and airline points too.
But anyways, I must have got myself on some kind of wedding mailing list somehow because I keep getting mail about all kinds of wedding stuff. So yesterday I got this big box in the mail. I was like What the H? It was this huge book about Sandals Resorts. They are in Jamaica, Antiguia, Bahamas, and some other places. It looked SOOOOOOO beautiful and EXPENSIVE! But of course in the entire HUGE book they don't give you any type of price ranges. I am expecting they want you to call about it. I can pretty much tell we won't be going there, it looked way to fancy schmancy. Just was wondering if you had heard of it or anything about it?

Really?

Oh, I like going by myself. Half the time, I prefer to shop by myself. I can go at my own pace and don't have to worry what my friend wants. It's very relaxing that way.

Ooh!!! I know the answer! It's during the Flower and Garden Festival and it's in Epcot. Where in Epcot, not exactly sure, but I'm sure it will be on the map.

You'd be surprised. Sometimes those fancy schmancy places can be affordable. It just depends on where you choose.

Ack, shopping is the worst for me.
That is when I really need someone!
I'll grow out of this...it's just the whole being in high school and not wanting to look like a loner thing.

Well, I'll admit, it is harder when you have on something that you could really use another opinion on...but sometimes I'll ask the store clerk. They give me a weird look, but tell me something.

And I understand the whole loner thing...but it's really ok. Trust me...I do it frequently.

Yeah I was just checking out their website. There are so many different locations to choose it's like I would have to do major research on which one is the cheapest.
They had some crazy awesome pictures in that book. There was one where there is your own little private pool right on your patio. Like you swim up to your door and go inside. It was crazy. But they had ones that looked a little less fancy like normal hotel rooms. So I am sure those would be a little cheaper. But man oh man it looked nice.

I am sort of weird though and am a little scared to travel to some of those countries. It might sound bad, but I am a little afraid I will get stuck there or kidnapped or something.

One time, I had a person from American Eagle pick out everything for me.
It was like having my own personal shopper! :D:lol:

Go for it!! Sounds like fun!!!
I think I'm going to suck it up and go. :)

You know, I don't think that Sandal's are that expensive. I mean from what I've heard they're pricey, but not too too bad. But I've also heard that some of them look alot nicer in the ads than in real life, if that makes sense.
