Well, I have to get up early tomorrow. So I am off to bed. Night everyone!
Did it look like a normal veil?I know.
It used to be that a girl would not even consider going into a church without something on her head. It would not be unusual to see a girl with a folded tissued pinned in her hair, if she had nothing better.
Night Jo!Well, I have to get up early tomorrow. So I am off to bed. Night everyone!
We all know who's number one.I do.
And I can't possible rank them!
They're all special in their own way.

And have the ingrained fear of rulers to prove it.Yes.
I went to Catholic school.
You can pretty much say Vatican II for any change like that. What?
That I went to Catholic School or that girls had to wear head coverings?
I'm trying to remember when the head covering thing ended.
I don't think it was till I was out of school.
It's been a few years since that was required.I know some people who went to a Catholic school, but they never mentioned them.
[Implied insult here]I'm going back a few years.
:lookaroun

Ooo...We would wear something like this for First Communion (age 8).

After that, we would remove the crown and wear the veil whenever we went to Church with our class. (On Sundays we would wear hats.)
We also kept these little things called chapel caps for unexpected trips to church during school hours.

Ooo...
I was picturing something different.
Thanks for the explanation.
Ooo, pretty! We also had a blue ones that were a bit shorter for the month of May, which is Mary's month.
Sorry, dad was on the phone from NY. Had to say hello and get an update.
Ooo, pretty!
Did you guys have uniforms, too?
Well, I do, and assume I'm correct. We do?
Walk through a crowd of over-30ishes holding a ruler.Yes. :lookaroun
Isn't October a Mary month too?We also had a blue ones that were a bit shorter for the month of May, which is Mary's month.
Sounds similar to my elementary uniforms. We did.
Navy jumpers and white blouses.
The boys wore navy pants, white shirts and navy ties.
Well, I do, and assume I'm correct.
As always.
Walk through a crowd of over-30ishes holding a ruler.
You can tell which ones went to Catholic school. :lookaroun
Maybe because the head covering was traditional and took a bit to filter out, whereas the whole Latin mass thing was ready to be dropped immediately.
Merci.
Isn't October a Mary month too?
Do you think my number one is Robbie?Well, I do, and assume I'm correct.
As always.
Sounds similar to my elementary uniforms.
