Speaking of music from Wishes, I've got a bit of an odd request.

There's the initial announcement audio ("In just 15 minutes…"), which then segued into an orchestral version of "A Dream is a Wish…", and a few other songs. I have tried for years now to find that orchestral audio. If anyone has any leads on where/what it might be, even if it's just a bad quality YouTube video where I can hear it in the background, I would be so grateful.

Was the last show out of synch with the music? I'm watching a YouTube video now and it seems like the castle low level pyro was fine but the big bursts were too early. ???

It seems to synch up more and more by the time the Genie portion starts.

I couldn't hear it. But the Pyro sure looks like pirates in Nighttastic doesn't it!

TBH, the only music I've heard from the videos from the Contemporary has been the finale, faintly.

There may be a nod to Magic Music and Mayhem (Summer Nightastic Fireworks) with the pirates battle but fireworks wise HEA won't come close to the amount used in Magic Music and Mayhem, which used a lot of perimeters.

I was fortunate enough to go today. It was incredible! Lots and lots of people! Also new grass!

Watching a mommy blogger broadcast live and break into tears at the end...methinks a great many WDW fainbois/girls have too much invested emotionally in the parks...as if we already didn't know that.

I was there tonight. Yes, the first scene and the beginning of the love section was out of sync for the fireworks shot behind the park. It caught up about halfway through the love section.

Another thought - this officially closes the Spectromagic era entirely. I've always thought of Wishes as being a sort-of compliment to Spectromagic - especially with Jiminy Cricket hosting both, so having Wishes alongside MSEP never really meshed well with me. It lived on better in its last few months by itself honestly. The turnout was immense tonight, and it was nice to see how many people truly adored and loved the show.

It was, glad I wasn't the only one that noticed.

Yes, many of us definitely noticed it out of sync at the beginning and were very nervous lol. Luckily it got synced up during the love section and by the finale I was in tears. After the show, many stayed in the hub and sang along to the exit song one last time. It was a beautiful and fitting farewell to Wishes. I'll miss the show dearly, but excited to welcome Happily Ever After tomorrow.

Wishes will be missed. My wife and I first went to Magic Kingdom together in 2003, shortly after Wishes began. We've been back, both as a couple and as a growing family, many times since, and Wishes has always been the last thing we saw before we headed home from our vacation. It is a wonderful memory.

That said, I am super excited about tomorrow's opening of the new show. Love the music and very excited by the visuals we've seen. Will be on the live stream and scheduling more than one trip during our January marathon visit!

I will save my final review for tomorrow but considering the choice of films being represented, this will likely be a HUGE downgrade from Wishes.

It's actually a HUGE upgrade from wishes, Have you even seen the testing videos of the pyro?
Pyro by itself does not interest me, I focus more on "feelings". To be fair it will probably be technically superior to Wishes but the IP selection and especially the music (which is the most critical element) seems to not be as good as Wishes.
