Yes, I had a crappy camera, but this was the first full performance of Wishes in the Magic Kingdom. Thankfully, I got a nicer camera and found a similar shot:

It wasn't exactly a soft opening (and I'm glad it wasn't!). It was a "Cast preview" ... more of an announcement really. There were 10 of us on Main Street including a camera guy from events recording it. It was the least crowded I have seen the Magic Kingdom during the fireworks!OOOH...You got to snag a Soft Opening!

I don't want to burst anybody's bubble here, but if you are going to use photos that are not yours (and with a watermark even), you should give proper credit to the owner...and then ONLY AFTER you have recieved permission from the owner to use them (which I know you didn't get).
Just a little friendly advice.
And while I'm at it, here's one of my favorite photos of Wishes...

I was probably there with you!
I was a CP then, and stuck around several nights that week for the same experience....literally lying down on the street with Main Street all to ourselves.
Oh, so magical
I was able to work the press event with Julie Andrews too...just standing around the hub for hours eating free Mickey Bars, and watching the premiere of Wishes :slurp:
