The writers' strike never affected Wish because Animation writers are not part of the Writers Guild. In addition, it would be extremely sad if Wish's screenplay wasn't completed at this point, but I know that that could be a possibility considering that Jennifer Lee is the screen writer.
Granted the movie comes out in a few months, I can’t imagine it’s not almost out of post-production.

I did not know animation writers are not part of the Writers Guild.

I’m also wondering where all this Jennifer Lee hate stemmed from on the forums

I'd imagine it began following Frozen II where admitted in the making of series that there were issues of the story (if I'm not misremembering) while the majority of people seemed to enjoy Frozen II there was a small handful of vocal haters of the film/her handling of said project. Her creds for writing include Frozen, the screenplay for Wrinkle in Time and Wreck-It Ralph and the story for Zootopia. She also has been in a leadership position within the studio since 2014 so I presume some likely put blame on her for the box office dud that was Strange World.

Eh, it just wasn't a good movie. More marketing would have helped it make a tad more, but not by much.

We’re reaching a point right now that studios seem to be missing the mark on what generation they are supposed to be appealing to. We may be seeing that with the collapse of Indy as well. Too long dormant, too generationally not as appealing as they thought.

Strange world with its 50’s pulp sci-fi aesthetic is not something parents or kids are nostalgic for. Or even possibly young grandparents.

I know everyone pines for Jules Verne inspired park fare, but even that has been left too dormant to appeal to current audiences. Not to say ‘old franchises’ are not eternally appealing, but there is a certain dying on the vine that can occur.

Bloomberg reporting Wish is on a list of Disney films that could potentially be delayed depending on the length of the strikes.

"Walt Disney Co. is reviewing its schedule of film releases through the rest of the year and may delay some titles because striking actors won’t help promote the pictures, according to people familiar with the matter.

The discussions are at an early stage, but could impact films including Poor Things, Next Goal Wins, Wish and Magazine Dreams, which are all slated for release this year. Any changes will depend on the outcome of the review, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing internal matters."

I wouldn't delay "Wish." Unlike live action movies, the draw of animated films usually isn't based on the actors voicing the character. Ariana DeBose and Chris Pine are very talented, but they are not huge box offices draws.

I would consider delaying "The Marvels" (You definitely want Brie Larson and Iman Vellani promoting the film). But Wish could benefit from having the holiday all to itself if all the other major Hollywood tentpoles of November and December get pushed back. And if Wish is the only major movie playing, it will get a lot more attention.
