Trip Report Will it ever stop raining? Our June 2017 trip

Hi, all!! I've finally had a chance to start going through my photos and thought I would get started on my trip report! For those of you not familiar, here is my pre-trip report:
Adventure is out there...June 2017
If you don't want to read the PTR, here is a brief synopsis before I get started:
Who: Me (Amy), DH (Brian), DS Logan (14), DD Lily (12), and DS Owen (9)
When: June 2-17, 2017
Where: Universal Studios (Hard Rock Hotel), Disney (Art of Animation), and SeaWorld

For those of you who followed along with the live portion of my PTR, I apologize that some of the photos will be the same. I'm too lazy to go back and remember which ones I used!

I experienced one of the longest days of my life on Friday, June 2!! We left Dayton, Ohio before 5am.

Neither one of us drinks coffee, but we definitely needed some caffeine to start our morning! We stopped for the best Coke in the world!!

McDonald's!!
We had a little delay in Cincinnati because I-75 was closed both directions and we had to take a little detour.:eek:
We waved @LisaBelle and @21stamps and any other Cinci friends as we finally drove over the bridge and entered Kentucky!

We made sure to get past Lexington before morning rush hour, and stopped in Richmond for breakfast.

The kids had never had Chick fil A for breakfast, so we had to correct that!

Thanks! I never would have dreamed that I could wear a child's size, I was just desperate! I was amazed when it actually fit!

I will be sure to remember there is light at the end of the tunnel! Unfortunately, it I'll be quite a few years before there are no more teenagers at our house!

We were on a mission to get a late lunch/early dinner. We headed straight for Pandora.

I ordered the chicken bowl with rice and creamy herb dressing.

Brian got the same except he had the chimichurri sauce, so no pic! And Lily got the same with no sauce!

Everyone really enjoyed their meal! I would definitely eat here again, and recommend it to others!
We got both type of desserts. Everyone agreed that the blueberry cream cheese mousse was the better of the two.

Then the ride stopped! We ended up waiting about 15-20 minutes for it to restart. Then it stopped again for about 5 minutes before finally becoming fully functional. Some pics while we waited:

It was actually really good. Kind of like a cheesecake consistency. I really didn't care for the chocolate one and I loooove chocolate! We did not ride that night because I had her put the new FP+ on our next AK day. Probably a good thing because FOP was down a lot the remainder of that day and the following couple of days.

Brian and Logan chose to sit out Primeval Whirl. And I have no pictures because I handed Brian the camera, and they stood on the side of the ride that we weren't on and totally missed us!

Brian's knee was really bothering him at this point, so we made our way over to the ROL dining package entrance to wait for it to open. It was nice to just relax and talk to each other for awhile.

I really enjoyed the show! Could it have been better? Absolutely, but I loved it for what it was! I do hope they continue to work on improvements for it!

We stopped briefly on the way out to catch one of the Awakenings of the Tree of Life, but the kids were getting whiny, so we didn't stay long!
