Trip Report Will it ever stop raining? Our June 2017 trip

Hi, all!! I've finally had a chance to start going through my photos and thought I would get started on my trip report! For those of you not familiar, here is my pre-trip report:
Adventure is out there...June 2017
If you don't want to read the PTR, here is a brief synopsis before I get started:
Who: Me (Amy), DH (Brian), DS Logan (14), DD Lily (12), and DS Owen (9)
When: June 2-17, 2017
Where: Universal Studios (Hard Rock Hotel), Disney (Art of Animation), and SeaWorld

For those of you who followed along with the live portion of my PTR, I apologize that some of the photos will be the same. I'm too lazy to go back and remember which ones I used!

I experienced one of the longest days of my life on Friday, June 2!! We left Dayton, Ohio before 5am.

Neither one of us drinks coffee, but we definitely needed some caffeine to start our morning! We stopped for the best Coke in the world!!

McDonald's!!
We had a little delay in Cincinnati because I-75 was closed both directions and we had to take a little detour.:eek:
We waved @LisaBelle and @21stamps and any other Cinci friends as we finally drove over the bridge and entered Kentucky!

We made sure to get past Lexington before morning rush hour, and stopped in Richmond for breakfast.

The kids had never had Chick fil A for breakfast, so we had to correct that!

We were held at the bridge until 8:00am exactly. Lots of people kept thinking they would get across early because they had 8:05 ADRs. The CM kept saying, "It only takes a minute to walk over there!". I don't know how many times we heard him say it!!

Thanks! I always debate about how many pics to include! I love all the little details, but I don't want to overload people!

I just went on and browsed a bit and found a couple of Randy's that are pretty low! I put them on my watch list to see if they stay that way. ;) I just saw a "hack" video on Facebook the other day showing how you can wear any size of Irma by either tying or belting it so now I'm on the lookout for prints that I love regardless of the size. :p

Yeah, my big problem right now is that I have yet to see an XS randy in any of the Little Mermaid prints and all of the S ones have started at $75. I try to keep checking every day, but life keeps getting in the way!! I don't even know what size Irma I would need. I'm thinking an XXS, but I guess I need to go try one on!

The only Lula that I own are leggings, so I honestly don't know what size I am either! That's why I was excited to find that video. :p I never got around to going and trying things on, and now I don't have any of my consultants nearby to do so. :( The Little Mermaid ones are adorable.. I love the Flounder leggings! I'm gonna be in deep trouble if/when they release Beauty and the Beast. o_O

Beautiful photos of AK! Tusker House is a favorite of mine, I agree with you that they have a nice selection of food and great character interaction. You got some some really nice shots with your kids and the characters.

We didn't even really need a FP+ this early, but after riding all of the water rides at Universal, the kids decided they didn't necessarily need to ride Kali River Rapids, so I switched our afternoon FP+ for that to a morning one for KS just in case the crowds showed up early!

I swear I went to college with our driver! He introduced himself as Crispy, and I went to Otterbein with a Chris P., who we all called Crispy. When we got off and I mentioned this to Brian, he said that Crispy had said something about Dayton, so it probably was him!! Unfortunately, we were too far back in the jeep for me to say anything. He was very knowledgeable and it was a very enjoyable trip!
