Will Frances knock down the Epcot wand?

I want to say on a very serious note that my thoughts and prayers will go out to anyone who maybe be affected by this monsterous hurricane. Hurricane Frances could become a category 5 hurricane, clocking in even more faster winds and force. It does appear that it will now hit Florida and not South Carolina in a direct hit. I am saddened to know that people are still literally picking up from Hurricane Charley, and now we have Frances [some are calling it Andrew all over again....probbaly to scare us.] I know Floridians take this stuff seriously, and I hope if danger comes by Thursday that they can secure there homes and property and leave safetly.

Now if this Hurricane hits the Disney Property, I wish the cast members the best of luck in securing the property, and for the hotel guests to remain safe and secure.

I only wish to add a little humor, and if the wand does get knocked down, hurray for us SSE purists, but I hope it would never cause a death to anyone or serious damage to other pieces of property, except of course the wand itself. So what do you think. With the possibilty of 135+ winds going head on into Lake Buena Vista, does the Epcot wand over SSE literally stand a chance?

The Wand is (*appears to be, though really isn't*) top-heavy and leaning precariously over our beloved Geosphere. That said, I'd much rather have a Wand and a Geosphere than a fallen Wand and a crushed Geosphere.

But if I could choose the consequence of the hurricane on Epcot's Main Entrance Plaza, I'd choose an intact Geosphere and a fallen Wand.

I'm hoping you love it there as much as I do. I think it's a really cool idea that WDI added, and I know I'm going to get neg. reps for saying that I like it. When it was built, they built it with hrricanes in mind. I'm not sure of the exact number but it can withstand winds of 200+ mph, therefore, Frances won't be doing much of anything there.

how about the want getting enough damage through it's supports... making it still barely stand but dangeriously... then it accidently fall and destroy a fre thigns along the path... like the tomb stones... hope over monorail path and land in empty parking lot... hehe

Maybe just MAYBE the wand will get lifted up and float over Spaceship Earth, as Frances gets ed off at those increased ticket prices. As the Wand Floats over EPCOT Center BLV., All the letters begin to fall off, and break apart to spell out 'Magic Kingdom', then the wand miraculously lands up right next to Cinderella Castle, but only the middle finger is intanct, and the words now spell out 'Magic Kingdom", and all the stars from Spaceship Earth "magically land" on the spires of the Castle along with a few tomb stones around Main Street U.S.A.

Oh good then we can start protesting about how ugly the wand and stars on the Cinderella Castle look, while some will insist on protesting that it is a beautiful creative idea, a gift from Frances, even though Mickey is flipping us off along with some tomb stone legacy tablets.

Frances is bad, real bad, but that puppie probably won't go anywhere, and as much as I hate the wand, I do not want any damage. It will go eventually.
