Will Epcot have a change in appearance after Star Wars?

You have to admit, back in the 80's Epcot had some Star Wars influence whether it was a on purpose or totally unrelated. Just look at Horizons and Spaceship earth. I mean we all know who that guy fixing that submarine was supposed to be not to mention the music score at the end when you ride back to current time. Just the decor and the buildings alone had that style. When Epcot was built return of the Jedi wasn't even out yet. I'm hoping if these new series hit it off the same way maybe we will see some classic schemes come back to the park. I hope us Star Wars fans are about to get what the Frozen fans got. And i'm not talking about turning Spaceship Earth into the death star, but more like bringing back the older color schemes they used to use.

They could always use the Captain Eo theatre to promote / show the behind the scenes on how the movies were made there. They could make an area for promotes eduactional / science areas that you see on The Discovery Channel. Blend it in but dont over do it

EPCOT is in need of a Billion dollar make over. Lots of potential - empty pavillions, lots of space. Probably after they get DAK and DHS up to par. They dont need a 5th gate till they fix the three other parks to take the pressure off MK.

If at any change to EPCOT is likely, I highly doubt Star Wars will be added to the mix. Star Wars will go to DHS. Not EPCOT.

^^^ A projection would be cool for a limited time. A Star Wars takeover theme when either the movies launch or when the new attractions open at DHS. Sorry, if anyone disagrees, it's just the nerdette in me.

It would be quite the undertaking, but what if they made some sort of cloth/fabric overlay for it? Something that would be porous enough for rain to flow through. It would be more permanent and would look better than a projection, and would be easy enough to take down when the promo is over.

That would be cool, but how cool would it be to have a Star Wars themed Sorin'? Kind of like Star Tours on steroids! Or they could turn Test Track into a pod race.

(I'm just spitballing here, but let the flame war begin! :hungover: :banghead: :devilish: ;) )

EPCOT needed to quit REPLACING and start OPENING, because there are/were already buildings to use...

Millenium Village is still there, WoL Pavilion is still there, Odyssey Building (which is great for taking secluded grumpers) is still there, upstairs ImageWorks is still there, Innoventions West (or East?) is losing a contract, Captain EO needs a makeover, Maelstrom was fine, and a 3rd projector to cut down wait times on Soarin' is the only project I can approve.
